Carolina Herrera focused on texture for her fall-winter 2016 runway presentation held during New York Fashion Week. The Venezuelan-American designer kicked off her show with a midi-length grey skirt in a Prince of Wales print and matching top modeled by Karlie Kloss. A neutral color palette quickly transformed into rich hues of violet, mulberry and iris. Herrera once again embraced floral motifs with jasmine flowers in enlarged and miniature embroideries. For the finale look, Kloss closed the show in a Grecian inspired purple gown complete with pleating and sheer layers.
