Beauty campaigns take the spotlight for our latest roundup of fashion advertisements. First off, we see the new Chanel ‘Gabrielle’ fragrance campaign starring actress Kristen Stewart lensed by Karim Sadli. The first new stand alone fragrance in fifteen years, it is a major event. Lindsey Wixson also fronts a new campaign for Dior Beauty’s ‘Metallics’ fall 2017 makeup line.
Of course, both fashion houses are known for their fragrance, skincare, and beauty lines – but just like Christian Dior perfume, it was no surprise that their fall metallics collection stole the show. While metallics may come in, go in some people’s wardrobes – they’re on the runways every year. So, suppose you’re pushing the sartorial envelope like Rihanna, who frequently has worn Dior throughout her pregnancy, or keep things more subdued. In that case, the brand has something for everyone – even when it comes to fragrances.
Trends may come and go in what types of beauty products or clothing are marketed to us, but the major fashion labels will always provide quality and style that endure for years. It doesn’t matter your gender, background, or taste; brands like Dior create moments for you while getting ready for the day or creating memories that make you feel confident and beautiful. And for that, they will always be coveted and worth investing in.
