For Balenciaga’s spring-summer 2017 campaign, creative director Demna Gvasalia drops the curtains. Photographer Harley Weir captures models against a backdrop featuring colorful stage curtains. The advertisements star Sunniva Vaatevik, Alek Wek, Amandine Renard, Shujing Zhou, Litay Marcus, Carla Daher and Eliza Douglas. The season’s neon floral prints, boxy trench coats and spandex leggings stand out with styling by Lotta Volkova. For accessories, oversized tote bags and blocked-heeled boots bring an avant-garde touch.
