  1. Over it. what is the point of a man modelling women’s clothes? How is it breaking down barriers, questioning our society’s gender roles etc. etc.? Why should a thirty something women who can afford these clothes have to look at a young man acting as a women and think, “Love it on him want that!” There are PLENTY of Beautiful blonde, white, blue eyed models.

He is not breaking stereotypes or pushing for gender equality etc because its not sexist to say a women should model women’s clothes and a man to model men’s clothes.

However, if he were to say i want to be a female, and be it transgender, fine, but he still goes by “he”

    • I don’t think people employ Andrej because they necessarily consider it breaking down barriers, more-so he’s used because he can pull off looking very feminine, he doesn’t automatically look like a man in women’s clothing.  I think he gets jobs because he is a “gender fuck,” you could look at him and say “they’re beautiful, they look good, but is it a boy or girl?”  I think that sort of intrigue is why he’s in demand, if magazines wanted to use him because they think men should model women’s clothing to question gender roles, they would probably use a man that looks far more masculine.  Andrej’s allure lies in the fact that his gender is not so obvious.

    • Turboblanco’s comment below highlights why it’s questioning gender and sexuality. He clearly feels uncomfortable with seeing what apperas to be an attractive female but is in fact male. Anything which questions what we perceive to be OK should be encouraged as it helps generate debate and hopefully wider acceptance of different people in society.

  2. I’m a man who enjoys looking at beautiful women in nice clothes. I don’t appreciate this gimmick and if I wanted to see male models, I’d read GQ. And I sure as hell don’t want to see men dressed as women. Just my opinion.

  3. Male, female…who cares! This is a beautiful looking person/human being who happens to have the looks that it takes to sell those garments and that eyeshadow. Lighten up people….And now my comment about the images above..They are gorgeous!
