Published on March 29, 2011
In This Room – The superstition issue of No. Magazine takes to an old Parisian hotel for one haunting story starring Alina Baikova. Photographed and styled by Karen Inderbitzen-Waller, Alina gets in touch with the spirits while sporting grungy prints and pops of bold color. / Digital and retouching by Delphine Avril Planqueel Related Posts

There is something very creepy and eerie about this, but in a good way. I can recall many days and nights spent in one room waiting, full of anxiety and wondering whats going to happen. This editorial kinda reflect that. Pattern mixing is very whimsical, and I love the softness of hair and makeup.

I don’t really see the fashion in these photo’s. The model is looking like she’s bored. It’s more artistic than that it sells me something.

I think that the point might have been for the model to look bored… it looks like she’s waiting around for something, wandering her room aimlessly, just letting her mind wander.

        I think it’s fantastic (:

She really reminds me of Vlada R in a few of these. Not so fond of the editorial as a whole, but I enjoy Alina getting more work.
