With his resort 2016 collection, Alexander Wang looked to the street for inspiration—going back to the roots of the brand. Wang embraced his signature color of black for the season with a slick and polished lineup that included staples like denim, little black dresses and trenches with a modern flare including chunky sandal platforms. Wang’s own version of evening wear featured a long black gown embellished with fringe details.
