Alexander McQueen Spring 2015–Inspired by the kimono, Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton brought a distinctively Eastern look to the brand’s spring-summer 2015 collection. Here, Burton elongated the traditional Japanese piece to be a coat or a gown or even a mini dress in a color palette of red, white, black and flashes of blush pink. Models wore face masks in black and tall, lace decorated wedges for an uniformed aesthetic. The McQueen woman showed off a more romantic side with ruffle-adorned dresses in pastels only to be edged up again with leather harnesses.
