We must admit that as Americans we do not know that much about football, but with the recent World Cup and now V #66’s homage to the Argentine phenomenon of “botineras”, or footballer’s wives, we are starting to get an idea. With an all star cast featuring Alessandra Ambrosio, Dree Hemingway, Eniko Mihalik, Jacques Naude, Maryna Linchuk, Evandro Soldati, Martin Landgreve, Simon Nessman, and Constance Jablonski, the twelve page spread pays tribute to the tanned, superficial wives of football players. Lensed by Sebastian Faena and styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, the girls give a grade A performance in Footballers’ Wives.

Totally! For people who don´t live in Argentina just google Evangelina Anderson or Wanda Nara or Zaira Nara, you´ll know that this editorial is the clear truth.

  3. Loving it! Great sense of humor! I don't understand the people critizising the editorial for looking cheap and tacky as it was clearly done deliberately to make a point

  5. Ugh this looks cheap. Only thing that I find remotely funny is Maryna breast feeding a baby doll. She's styled like a half naked cougar in training that I'd see in the Nordstroms at my mall.
