Amid rumors predicting Yves Saint Laurent creative director Stefano Pilati’s pending departure (he’s here to stay, by the way), the Italian designer delivered one of his strongest collections yet for the fall 2011 season. Impeccable tailoring, above the knee hemlines and a contrasting color palette of black and white defined the autumn collection as models took to the catwalk in glam feminine looks with true sex appeal.

  1. I cannot remember last time i was this impressed with YSL. These clothes are just perfect. Amazing tailoring, cut and materials. Very grown up, sophisticated yet chic and fashionable. the white jumpsuit kassia is wearing on the 3rd page is to die for. As well as the other white ensembles on last page.

    They better not let Stefano go!
