Metropolis – Inspired by Fritz Lang’s classic silent film Metropolis, the Adidas SLVR campaign for fall 2012 enlists photographer Willy Vanderperre and stylist Jay Massacret for a series of modern images showcasing the sporty styles. Lara Mullen stars alongside male models Carlos Peters and Yannick Mantele in front of wood-carved buildings. The Urbanista – Karlie Kloss gets seductive for the fall 2012 campaign from French label Jean Paul Gaultier. Photographed by Willy Vandeperre in the iconic Parisian district called “Les Frigos”, Karlie poses in front of a graffitied background clad in sensuous black ensembles.
The Sitting Lady – Patricia van der Vliet fronts the spring 2012 campaign from MAX&Co., Max Mara’s casual yet fashion conscious brand. Lensed by Willy Vanderperre with styling by Clare Richardson, Patricia poses in color-blocked dresses, tailored pants and simple tees with a hint of seventies flair.
Lights, Camera, Action – i-D taps three stars of the fashion world–a designer, a model and a socialite for its Lights, Camera, Action issue. Raf Simons poses for Willy Vanderperre while Arizona Muse poses for Kayt Jones and a pregnant Julia Restoin Roitfeld poses for Mario Sorrenti. The summer issue has eight covers total and is set to hit newsstands on May 10th.
Dark Beauty – Givenchy goes dark for its fall-winter beauty campaign made for the “Acoustic Colors” collection. Querelle Jansen is tapped as the face with photography by Willy Vanderperre.
