On the Docks Trailer – Jean Paul Gaultier teases his next fragrance ad titled “On the Docks” with a trailer. The commercial will premiere online on September 26th and in television spots this December. The campaign stars Rianne ten Haken as a sultry vixen and Jarrod Scott as a sailor. The television spot directed by Johnny Green will focus on the “Classique” and “Le Male” scents. Check out the trailer below
Denim Babe – French label IRO introduces its new jeans collection with a fashion video starring Alison Nix. The blonde beauty serves up attitude in the film directed by Petecia Le Fawnhawk and Mark Maggiori of The Rads. The American model’s sheared tresses and smokey eyes evoke the rock n roll aesthetic of the autumn season.
Gisele Sings – Following up the print advertisements, here is a look at the official campaign film for H&M’s fall season starring Gisele Bundchen. In addition to modeling the new rock ‘n’ roll inspired collection, the Brazilian stunner also shows off her pipes in the song, “All Day and All of the Night”, originally performed by the Kinks. The song is available on iTunes and for every download, H&M will make a donation to UNICEF to enable the purchase of vaccines for children.
Gorgeous Gamer – British model and face of Just Cavalli’s “Just” fragrance, Georgia May Jagger, compulsively keeps checking her phone in a new video. What could it be grabbing her attention? Control Yourself – Agent Provocateur follows up its Penelope Cruz film with “Control Yourself”, a humorous take on three models being pried and pulled backstage at a runway show who assert themselves in the lingerie brand’s sexy wares. Melissa George, Elettra Wiedmann and Chloe Hayward star in the video directed by John Cameron Mitchell. “I was inspired by the powerful femininity in George Michael’s Too Funky video. Hard-edged in their couture curves, the models have the power to seduce and take control, just like this season’s Agent Provocateur women,” says Sarah Shotton, the brand’s creative director.
Le Dix Bag – Earlier this month we shared a peek at the new “Le Dix” handbag collection from Balenciaga, and now here is a look at the Black Calfskin Cartable in motion with a new film directed by Toby McFarlan Pond. This marks Alexander Wang’s first handbag collection for the Parisian label. The name, which is French for ten, alludes to the fashion house’s original address at 10 Avenue George V and the handbag having the “perfect ten” in terms of craftsmanship.
Mystic Metallics – Dior releases a new beauty line for the fall-winter season titled, “Mystic Metallics”. Daria Strokous stars in the new campaign and video with photography by Steven Meisel. The line is inspired by Monsieur Dior’s belief in omens and superstitions ranging from his first meeting with fortune tellers at the age of fourteen. The “Mystic Metallics” collection includes a nail varnish set, eyeshadow palette, Diorshow Fusion Mono gel-mousse and blush in rosy shades.
Muse in Motion – Following up the “Modern Muse” print advertisement photographed by Craig McDean, Arizona Muse appears in the thirty-second tv spot. The American model has an ethereal glow as she walks the streets of New York in a flouncy dress. The “Modern Muse” scent is described as a floral and musky fragrance with notes of jasmine and wood.
Mademoiselle C – Former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld has a new documentary coming out which chronicles the behind-the-scenes of the inaugural issue of her bi-annual, CR Fashion Book. Not only does it reveal the inner workings of her professional life but also her personal life such as becoming a grandmother. The film includes appearances from fashion stars including Riccardo Tisci, Tom Ford, Sarah Jessica Parker and Karl Lagerfeld. Watch the trailer below.
Sporty Sexy Glam – Following up the print advertisements for Michael Kors’ new beauty range, the American brand has released a video starring Kors face Karmen Pedaru. In the film shot on location in Los Angeles by Mario Testino, Karmen steps off a helicopter and proceeds to get made over by a glam squad. Joined by Simon Nessman, the Estonian model wows in beauty looks from the Sporty Sexy Glam line set to the tunes of Duran Duran’s “Girls on Film”.
