YSL Woman – Raquel Zimmermann stars in a rapid paced film shot for Yves Saint Laurent’s fall 2011 collection campaign. With direction by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin and creative by Stefano Pilati, the YSL girl listens to the soundtrack of LCD Soundsystem with a season of changes. A review of the Burberry Prorsum spring 2012 collection will be posted later today, but in the meantime here is a behind the scenes look of the craftsmanship behind the latest season. Sketches of the sculpted parkas, military inspired jackets and trenches take shape as well as the sewing technique behind the garments.
The Scent – To celebrate the launch of their first women’s fragrance, Bottega Veneta enlisted the help of photographer/director Chris Weber and art director Tomas Maier to create this short film exploring the scent’s olfactory sensation. With notes of bergamot, pink pepper, jasmine, patchouli and oak moss, the scent is evocative of private luxury amidst the hills of Italy’s Veneto region.
Signature Scent – After taking a look at the print advertisement, we have a behind the scenes look at the making of Michael Kors’ eponymous fragrance commercial. Starring a barely covered Karmen Pedaru shot by Mario Testino, Kors gives women a scent to last a lifetime with the Golden 10th anniversary of his signature fragrance.

Highlighting Netherlands’ Anne de Grijff and three German brands including Kaviar Gauche, Issever Bahri and Hien Le; the collection will be avaible worldwide on thecorner.com by the end of this month. Celebrating the launch, director Bill Tanaka and creative director Sandor Lubbe created this darkly beautiful video starring Nora Ponse.
