ysl2 Raquel Zimmermann for Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2011 Film + Campaign by Inez & Vinoodh

YSL WomanRaquel Zimmermann stars in a rapid paced film shot for Yves Saint Laurent’s fall 2011 collection campaign. With direction by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin and creative by Stefano Pilati, the YSL girl listens to the soundtrack of LCD Soundsystem with a season of changes. We also have a look at the full campaign after our preview earlier this season.

The Scent – To celebrate the launch of their first women’s fragrance, Bottega Veneta enlisted the help of photographer/director Chris Weber and art director Tomas Maier to create this short film exploring the scent’s olfactory sensation. With notes of bergamot, pink pepper, jasmine, patchouli and oak moss, the scent is evocative of private luxury amidst the hills of Italy’s Veneto region.

Signature Scent – After taking a look at the print advertisement, we have a behind the scenes look at the making of Michael Kors’ eponymous fragrance commercial. Starring a barely covered Karmen Pedaru shot by Mario Testino, Kors gives women a scent to last a lifetime with the Golden 10th anniversary of his signature fragrance.

Sirens in Motion – Following up a stunning story in print, Kai Z. Feng releases a behind the scenes look at his work for Stockholm S/S/A/W’s cover shoot starring Dorothea Barth Jorgensen, Katrin Thormann and Amanda Norgaard. With art direction by Jakob Hedberg, the lovely trio is haunting in pale, lightweight looks styled by James Valeri.
