Conscious Fashion – Following up the news that Amber Valletta would front its spring 2014 Conscious campaign, H&M has revealed it will not be releasing just one but TWO eco-friendly collections. Valletta will star in the Conscious and Conscious Exclusive advertisements, with the Exclusive line also featuring Elizabeth Von Guttmann and Alexia Niedzielski of design think tank Ever Manifesto. “I’m very excited to work with the H&M Conscious campaign, because we share the same values about sustainability,” says Valletta.
Spring Preview – Romanian model Andreea Diaconu wears the spring 2014 collection from H&M in this lookbook video. While we may not have seen the complete collection yet, we did see a preview during Fashion Week and the collection is very bohemian chic. In the film, Andreea wears fringe, flowing blouses and super cute maxi dresses.
Cindy for Marie Claire – Supermodel Cindy Crawford stars in the December cover shoot of Marie Claire Mexico, channeling iconic Mexican actress María Félix. Take a look at this film captured by Vladimir Marti featuring the gorgeous beauty hitting pose after pose with expert precision. On the cover, Cindy holds a cigar in hand while adorned with gems and a large hat.
Prada on Film – Following up the resort 2014 print advertisements, fashion label Prada has released its official film starring campaign models Anna Ewers, Cameron Russell and Amanda Murphy. In the video, the girls lounge while displaying the luxe jewelry, handbags and prints of resort. The girls shine while the chords of “Daydreaming” by Dark Dark Dark plays.
Hunter’s New Film – Representing a bold, outgoing adventurous aspect of British style, rooted in heritage, Hunter boasts a long history of discovery, creation and innovation. Looking to a new film entitled ‘Everyday Pioneers’ to capture this magic, the brand collaborates with Annex films for a stunning fall/winter 2013 project. Enlisting Select model Jenna Roberts as well as Scottish actors James Cosmo (Game of Thrones, Trainspotting) and Steven Cree (Brave, Macbeth), Hunter presents a magical picture of Glencoe, Scotland. Capturing the free spirit they are known for, Hunter also demonstrates their timeless appeal. Cruise Collection – Coinciding with the arrival of its cruise 2014 collection in boutiques, Chanel has released a behind the scenes video of the runway show held in Singapore in May of this year. The film offers an exclusive look at the atelier in Paris as well as fittings, the show decor and Karl Lagerfeld’s arrival.
Taylor’s New Video – Singer Taylor Swift always seems busy, when she’s not hitting the red carpet, covering fashion magazines or going on tour–she’s working on her fragrance line. Swift’s second video for her fragrance, “Taylor”, has just been released and in the film, the blonde star hangs out with her friends on a fun day out at the beach or just riding around in a convertible all set to the tunes of her song “Starlight”. Queenie Eye – For Paul McCartney’s new music video for his single “Queenie Eye”, the legendary musician enlisted a star-studded cast of personalities ranging from supermodel Kate Moss to actress Meryl Streep. In the video, which also stars Lily Cole, Johnny Depp, Chris Pine and Alice Eve amongst others, the group rocks out to McCartney’s performance. Kate plays a starring role in the video, swaying and posing to the rocking tune in a skin-tight black outfit. Even after all these years, the British beauty still has it!
Runway Hair – TRESemmé goes backstage at New York Fashion Week for a series of how-to videos featuring runway ready hairstyles. Designers like Rebecca Minkoff and Vivienne Tam’s shows feature some of the most pretty hair around with braided updos and matte blowouts. Fashion Week reporter Louise Roe chats with TRESemmé stylist Jeanie Syfu and the designers to get the inside scoop on the beauty looks.
Gaultier on Film – Following up a trailer preview, here’s a look at the complete “On the Docks” film from Jean Paul Gaultier. The French label enlists Rianne ten Haken and Jarrod Scott to represent Gaultier’s “Classique” and “Le Male” fragrances. Johnny Green directed the dramatic advertising spot which runs for a little over a minute, and features an enchanting love story between the two. The ads are already running in Europe and will air in the US this December.
