Zara’s Fall Selection – Following up its fall advertisements, Zara has released its August-September style update starring Valerija Kelava and Patrycja Gardygajlo. The duo models the season’s latest outerwear stylings including wool coats, cowl neck sweaters and boyish waistcoats. Skirts this season are flared and pleated while the color palette is mostly neutral with gold and red accents.
Luxe Fall – Spanish label Pedro del Hierro Madrid taps Valerija Kelava for its fall 2013 campaign. The studio images were snapped by Lachlan Bailey and highlight the elegant designs featuring dramatic capes, colorful floral prints, fitted trousers and menswear inspired outerwear. The Slovenian model is the very picture of luxe with understated hair and makeup.
Eastern Bound – Istanbul-based independent art and fashion magazine, Near East, puts forward a worthwhile effort for its debut issue which features models such as Valerija Kelava, Franzi Mueller and Zlata Mangafic. The magazine describes itself as having an international outlook and a cross-cultural editorial direction. The magazine’s first edition has a piece on Tunisian-born designer Azzedine Alaia and includes fashion features shot by Robi Rodriguez, Michael Hemy and Jamie Morgan.
