The androgyny episode is finally here! We were all very nervous about it since we not only had to become men in front of the camera, but we had to pose side by side with our supermodel coaches … I mean that’s pretty intimidating if you ask me. The time came and we started posing according to our story, and let me tell you it wasn’t easy. It does give you a rush of adrenaline to portray a character of the opposite sex. I can say I enjoyed working on the backstory of my character most since I hadn’t acted in a while. androgyny

Hey there!! =)
When we start this episode, Naomi is down to two girls and as you can imagine, she’s not liking it. When we go to hear what this week’s campaign will be, Nigel reminds us that we’re halfway through the competition. This is not helping my nerves. I just feel the pressure going higher and higher.

Well oh well , we’re already on episode 3 and pressure its ON! Last episode was so stressful, so I can’t explain the relief of seeing Kadisha walking back! It was like we could finally breath again…but after we got ourselves together Naomi was not happy. She was just furious about the elimination and it was the most comfortable situation, I’ll tell you that!

A LOT happened on last night’s episode. I mean it was exciting enough that we got makeovers…and we shot an ad in the NUDE. Yes, you heard that right. A NUDE SHOOT! But I’ll get to that in a minute.

Wow, this episode was a roller coaster of feelings from the beginning to the end! The whole thing was very unpredictable from walking in our underwear at Bryant Park in front of the supermodel coaches, which was completely nerve racking, to modeling Juicy Couture (For Real?!?).
I think it is funny how in life we can find ourselves doing things we never thought we would do. I can already tell that I am really getting to know myself through this competition and I am a lot braver than I thought!

Season 2 of Oxygen’s “The Face” premieres tonight at 10 ET and we’re excited to see supermodel Naomi Campbell joined by new mentors Lydia Hearst and Anne V. Before watching the main event, we got a chance to interview one of the model contestants from the show–Sharon. This beauty from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, considers herself a tomboy at heart after growing up in a family of all boys. In this rapid fire Q&A, we ask the 24-year-old about what makes her stand out from the competition, her modeling experience and growing up in the DR.
Did you always want to model?
No, not really Ha! I always wanted to act, but back in 2010 my brother convinced me to do a casting for the fashion week back home. While I was participating I had an amazing time and realized I could do both =)
