A Light Shape of White – The newly revamped spring edition of Tush focuses on minimal yet structured ivory pieces with Armin Morbach’s striking studio images. Model Suzie Bird dons monotone selects from the likes of Chanel, Jil Sander, Mugler and Céline styled by Ingo Nahrwold. Barely there makeup by Nina Park and mussed tresses by Stelli complete the ultra-modern aesthetic.
See by Chloe’s Urban Flair – Chloe’s offshoot line, See by Chloe, has a youthful vibe for the label’s fall 2012 presentation. Autumn offers a daring take on classic Chloe staples with short hemlines, breezy fabrics and urban appeal. A vibrant color palette of olive-green, light grey, scarlet, taupe and white tells a story of elegant nonchalance. Outerwear comes in oversized shapes and cool textures matched with leather sleeves. The clothing gets a perfect finish with pointy boots of leather or suede and clutch purses as accessories.
Giorgio Armani’s Sparkling Fall – For fall 2012, Giorgio Armani presented a collection showcasing his signature suiting with a youthful, slightly rock and roll inspired edge. Opening with tailored suits in grey and fedora style hats, the Armani woman walked the line between masculine and feminine for autumn. As the show progressed, vibrant orange and pink hues were introduced with fur coats, sparkling dresses and Bermuda shorts layered over black tights. The glam designs were accented by fingerless gloves and chunky jewelery as models walked the catwalk dripping in glittering necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
Dolce & Gabbana’s Baroque Woman – Dolce & Gabbana’s Italian glamour took a turn for bejeweled, Baroque inspired beauty with designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s fall 2012 showing presented during Milan Fashion Week. Influenced by Sicilian art work, models took to the runway in brocade and cherub tapestry prints. Accessories for the show included bejeweled headbands, gold jewelry and pearl adorned handbags. Delicate lace work was also on display with ladylike dresses that reached the knee and black veils worn like the Madonna. Bringing some sex appeal to the demure showing, Dolce sent out lingerie inspired bustiers and hot pants for a cheeky take on the Baroque influence.
Posen’s Eastern Fall – For fall 2012, Zac Posen transformed his signature evening wear looks into something a bit more Eastern inspired with models wearing high chignons and novel prints. Dramatic fishtail and mermaid silhouettes dominated the runway detailed with kimono-like belts. Shoulders held a strong shape, showcasing big, powerful folds of origami influence. Styled in bright red lips, look-at-me jewelry and fur coats; the Posen woman is certainly someone who will make an entrance for autumn.
A Light Touch to Fall – Jill Stuart’s signature feminine, airy frocks were out in full force for her fall 2012 show presented earlier today during New York Fashion Week. The color palette was dark, with pops of metallic, plum and navy to lighten to mood. Not one to pass on demureness, Stuart also featured a mix of lace and ruffles with peekaboo cutouts and leggy hemlines for a sexy touch. Outerwear included puffy coats belted at the waist, making a strong contrast to the flirty dresses and skirts which dominated the runway for fall.
