Cinematic Fall – After appearing in the brand’s previous advertisements, Malgosia Bela returns for another season as the face of Alexander Wang’s fall 2013 campaign. The Polish model once again poses for Steven Klein, this time in a dramatic black and white image with a cinematic effect. Camilla Nickerson from Vogue US worked as stylist on the shoot while creative direction was left to Pascal Dangin. Check out the “Confessional” video below, which chronicles Malgosia’s journey as a model.
Balenciaga Take Two – Following up an initial preview, fashion brand Balenciaga has released another image from its fall 2013 campaign under the creative direction of Alexander Wang. Model Kristen McMemany’s well-known visage may not be showing, but you can see her body in the image with a black leather doctor’s bag sitting in her lap. Steven Klein photographed the new advertisements.
A New Chapter – After being named as the new Creative Director of Balenciaga, designer Alexander Wang puts his own stamp on the brand with its fall 2013 campaign. Wang tapped photographer Steven Klein to shoot 90s icon Kristen McMenamy. A teaser has just been released for now, but Wang told WWD that the advertisements were cinematic. The fall campaign from Balenciaga hits magazines in May.
Alma Bag – Louis Vuitton releases a new campaign for its Alma Bag starring Karlie Kloss, Jac Jagaciak, Daria Strokous and Iris Strubegger. Photographed by Steven Klein and styled by Ludivine Poiblanc, the girls pose with the dome shaped bags in hues of red, blue and yellow meant to represent worldwide fashion locations including New York, Shanghai and Paris. Warrior Strength – After a teaser last week, we have a look at the complete spring 2013 campaign from Alexander Wang starring Malgosia Bela. The Polish model poses for Steven Klein in Wang’s modern, black and white designs. Painted Warrior – Alexander Wang offers a teaser of his upcoming spring 2013 campaign with these avant-garde images shot by Steven Klein. Wang chose Malgosia Bela as the face of the new season, and if these teasers give anything away, it looks pretty interesting. Creative director Pascal Dangin worked on the campaign which shows a white-painted Malgosia with wild hair. The actual advertisements will break this spring in fashion glossies and a NYC billboard.
Sexy Jeans – Lara Stone continues her reign as the face of Calvin Klein with the Jeans line’s fall 2012 campaign. Starring alongside male models Myles Crosby and Janis Ancens, the trio delve into some light bondage in Steven Klein’s steamy images.
Good Kate, Bad Kate – After taking a look at the striking covers, we share the main editorial from W Magazine’s March edition starring supermodel Kate Moss as an deity-like beauty. Photographer Steven Klein and fashion director Edward Enninful team up for a darker look at the spring collections featuring pieces from labels such as Balenciaga, Jil Sander, The Row and Louis Vuitton. With the help of makeup artist Val Garland (Streeters) and hair stylist Paul Hanlon, Kate proves she’s more than just a pretty face in the haunting images. / Set design by Jack Flanagan
