Wild Silk–Following up its recent runway show, Hermès has released a spring 2014 catalogue featuring its iconic scarves worn by former face of the brand, Iselin Steiro. The blonde model stuns in colorful and kaleidoscopic prints posing against a studio backdrop where the oversized silk patterns shine against her naked skin. Launching its new “Lived In” campaign, the spring advertisements from Gap enlists up and coming talent for a series of studio portraits taken by David Sims. This marks creative director Rebekka Bay’s first full collection, a modern and youthful interpretation of classic, casual Gap styles. Among the cast includes singer-songwriters Birdy and Anna Calvi, actress Julia Garner and photographer Lina Scheynius.
Additionally, a concept store with the “Lived In” theme is open now in London’s Boxpark. Each month, a new theme featuring the best of Gap’s key items will be revealed from the spring collection. The images reflect the wearer’s personal style with a wardrobe including essential basics such as jeans, t-shirts and jackets. Not So Reserved–Following up her appearance in the brand’s seasonal lookbook, Frida Gustavsson is back once again for the spring-summer 2014 campaign from Polish brand Reserved. The blonde beauty poses in Brazil for the new advertisements photographed by Mateusz Stankiewicz and styled by Karin Smeds. Wearing printed swimsuits, bold animal prints and easy silhouettes, Frida has us definitely looking forward to summer.
Sport Time–The ever beautiful Candice Swanepoel shows off her athletic side for the winter 2014 campaign from Australian sportswear brand The Upside. In the advertisements photographed by Will Davidson, the blonde babe poses alongside Nick Youngquest in sporty glam looks including workout tees, leggings and sports bras. Deyn Goes Surf–Teaming up for yet another collaboration with Dr. Martens, British model Agyness Deyn presents a spring-summer 2014 collection inspired by 70s Los Angeles surf culture. Set to launch globally in March, the line includes sandals, sarongs, baseball jersey tees and embroidered patches. “It’s great to have the freedom to play in so many style camps with the Docs girl. I was obsessing over the euphoria of summer and found that Docs has roots all the way into the early Venice Beach hardcore scene (very different from the East Coast),” says Agyness about the new line.
Beach Babe–Continuing her collaboration with French brand Etam, top model Natalia Vodianova hits the beach for the label’s spring 2014 swimwear campaign. The Russian beauty poses for Mario Sorrenti in a mix of colorful prints, sexy one-pieces and retro perfect bikinis. Multiplicity–Turkish retailer Beymen once again enlists Koray Birand to shoot its latest campaign. This time for its spring 2014 advertisements featuring Eniko Mihalik. The photographer and model recently worked together for Vogue Mexico and XOXO the Mag, and now, they pair up for these fashion ads. Eniko (in her many versions) models glamorous looks from the spring collections of Emilio Pucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and more styled by Murat Turkili and Asli Abbasoglu.
The Miranda Factor–Following up the announcement that Miranda Kerr would be the face of its spring 2014 campaign, H&M has released more photos of the Australian beauty. The mom and model looks understated but still gorgeous in a wardrobe of floral prints, lightweight sweaters and pleated tops. The Romanian model looks easy breezy in the retailer’s bohemian inspired designs which spotlight flowing blouses, fringe accents and eclectic prints.
