Born to Ride – Denim label Wrangler taps Emily Jean Bester for its spring campaign inspired by old motorcycle films and the carefree spirit of youth. Emily joins male model Vinnie Woolston as they travel the countryside in portraits photographed by Jason Lee Parry with styling by Tamlla Purvis.
Beach Relaxation – Inspired by F Scott Fitzgerald’s “This Side of Paradise”, the spring-summer collection from Australian label Thurley embraces elegant relaxation with its latest campaign starring Krystal Glynn. David Mandelberg captures the blonde beauty in New South Wales wearing airy shapes made of chiffon, lace and silk.
Laid-back Jack – Julia Nobis gets cozy for Australian label Jac + Jack’s spring 2012 campaign lensed by photographer David Armstrong at his home. The spring season is all about unaffected style as shown by Armstrong’s natural lighting and the minimally styled hair and makeup. The spring 2012 collection hits store on July 1st.
A Fine Pairing – Sigrid Agren stars alongside male model Sam Way in Chanel’s spring campaign for its fine jewelry collection. Captured by Dominique Issermann, the lovebirds are an engaged couple shopping for the perfect rings in the romantic black and white series of images.
The Sitting Lady – Patricia van der Vliet fronts the spring 2012 campaign from MAX&Co., Max Mara’s casual yet fashion conscious brand. Lensed by Willy Vanderperre with styling by Clare Richardson, Patricia poses in color-blocked dresses, tailored pants and simple tees with a hint of seventies flair.
Beauty with Edge – CK One’s new cosmetics line gets a youthful takeover with its spring advertisements starring an all-star cast featuring Lara Stone, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Ruby Aldridge, Herieth Paul, Eliza Cummings, Fei Fei Sun and Ehren Dorsey. With creative direction by Fabien Baron, David Sims captures the models in a range of colorful styles with a rock and roll edge.
French Summer – French luxury label Jitrois draws on a range of influences for its spring-summer collection, finding inspiration ranging from the French Riviera to Mediterranean style. Designer Jean-Claude Jitrois plays on color and form for the season, offering body conscious silhouettes and a myriad of hues including fiery red, marmalade, royal blue and forest green. Styled by Katie Shillingford, models Elin and Sophie don seventies influenced cocktail wear with a hint of modern edge in the form of leather jackets and skirts. Lace, chiffon, mesh and Swaroski crystals are all luxe materials used for the evening-wear section which showcases Jitrois’ own take on the little black dress.
