Roshambo: Paper-Scissors – Free People follows up its three-part series called, Rashambo, with its August catalogue starring actor Christopher Abbott and model Sheila Marquez. Beauties Ana Girardot, Sabrina Nait, Alba Galocha and Stef Van Der Laan are also featured in the story which captures Sheila and Chris rekindling their romance in Paris. Throughout the film, fall pieces such as denim, boho prints and leather jackets are featured.
Skirting the Issue – Free People is launching a new collection of Limited Edition skirts in five unique styles made by the brand’s head designers. Models Sheila Marquez and Martha Hunt star in the lookbook featuring bohemian-inspired designs ranging from flapper chic to seventies cool with intricate crochet and embroidered mesh. Prices range from $350.00 to $600.00.
Party Girls – Free People continues its Roshambo catalogue series with the release of Roshambo: Rock. Before Sheila Marquez was reunited with her true love Chris Abbott of Girls, she was nursing a broken heart. Enter Michele Ouellet and Britt Maren, Sheila’s two best friends who help her forget her troubles in Rio de Janeiro. Special Occasion – Free People released its limited edition spring collection earlier this week, featuring six white dresses evoking a bohemian spirit. Anthony Nocella captured Sheila Marquez (who recently appeared in the February catalogue with “Girls” star Christopher Abbott) in the style book images showcasing the elegance of the designs including special touches such as beading, fringe, and appliqués. The dresses are produced in limited quantities of only 50-100 pieces each, and come with a signed tag displaying the one of the six designers’ names.
Love Story – Christopher Abbott of the hit HBO show “Girls” joins Sheila Marquez for the February catalogue from Free People. The pair poses in front of Guy Aroch’s lens in a series of romantic images just in time for Valentine’s Day. Sheila and Christopher also star in a short film titled, “Roshambo”, depicting a whirlwind love story between the two set in Brooklyn that begins with coffee and a game of roshambo. Frankreps’ Shin Arima gives the girls a feeling of beautiful ease while make-up artist Chiho Omae gives each girl a pretty red pout.
Sporty & Spicy – For the new H by Halston athletic wear campaign, photographer David Roemer captures models Sheila Marquez and Marlena Szoka in the label’s glamorous but affordable selects. Stylist and creative director Elizabeth Sulcer keeps the girls sleek and simple in sophisticated styles of sneakers and flats.
