Black and White by Karl – After taking a look at backstage images last week, here is a preview of Karl by Karl Lagerfeld’s fall 2012 campaign starring Saskia de Brauw, Sui He and Anja Rubik (not pictured). The girls were photographed by Lagerfeld in black clad ensembles alongside male model Baptiste Giabiconi.
Chanel Style – Saskia de Brauw returns as the face of Chanel’s fall 2012 campaign and is joined by fellow models Stella Tennant, Kati Nescher, Cora Emmanuel and Lindsey Wixson (unpictured) in the studio images shot by Karl Lagerfeld. The girls all wear sheared haircuts in autumn’s elegant tweeds and layers. (TFS)
Against the Rope – Saskia de Brauw is tapped as the face of Max Mara’s fall 2012 campaign for the second consecutive season. Mario Sorrenti once again captures the Dutch beauty in an array of the Italian label’s military inspired coats and accessories. Saskia poses in black and white against a piece of rope for a naval themed series of advertisements.
Karl’s Girls – Anja Rubik, Saskia de Brauw and Sui He are set to appear in Karl by Karl Lagerfeld’s fall 2012 campaign photographed by Lagerfeld himself. These behind the scenes images captured by photographer Olivier Saillant showcase the trio as they go from hair and makeup to on the set. The upcoming advertisements also star male model Baptiste Giabiconi.
Acuatica – Saskia de Brauw dives into the water for V Spain’s summer cover shoot lensed by Nathaniel Goldberg. Styled by Clare Richardson, the Dutch beauty wears colorful swimwear and jewelry designed by names such as Lacoste, Herve Leger and Lanvin. Slicked back hair by David von Cannon and red lips by Adrien Pinault complete the sunny looks.
The Icons – Antidote Magazine’s third issue taps eight leading models–Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Natasha Poly, Malgosia Bela, Saskia de Brauw, Lindsey Wixson, Aymeline Valade and Bianca Balti to be more specific, for its “Icons Issue”. Dutch Goddess – Saskia de Brauw graces two covers of L’Officiel Netherlands’ April-May edition. The Dutch model poses for Matthew Brookes’ lens with one typical beauty portrait and another avantgarde image.
The Perfect Ten – Marking ten years at Lanvin, creative director Alber Elbaz celebrated with some of his “greatest hits” for the label’s fall 2012 collection. From sculpted silhouettes to jewel encrusted garments, the new season certainly had a festive feeling with a showing of all skirts and dresses. Opening with vibrant jewel tones of electric blue, scarlet and canary yellow; body conscious silhouettes and luxe detailing such as dramatic ruffles, fur and lace accents dominated the runway. As the show progressed, the color palette became darker with inky blacks and dark metallic fabrics. Topped off with gloves and chunky jewelry, the Lanvin woman looks ready to party for the autumn.
