Very French – For its fall 2013 campaign, Sonia Rykiel celebrates the work of famous French graphic designers like Bernard Villemot and Raymond Savignac. Model Sam Rollinson poses next to cut-out designs in a set of studio images shot by Mert & Marcus and styled by Marie Chaix. This marks the first advertisements under the direction of designer Geraldo da Conceicao which focuses on pantsuits, knits and outerwear.
The New Classics – Dutch painters like Rembrandt and Johannes Vermeer served as inspiration for Valentino’s fall 2013 campaign starring a bevy of models. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shot the campaign which features mostly newcomers including Maud Welzen, Kati Nescher, Magdalena Jasek, Irina Kravchenko, Sam Rollinson, Erika Labanauskaite, Tamara Weijenberg, Laura Kampman, Nouk Torsing and Sasha Luss. The girls pose next to still-life images that reflect the Flemish style including flowers, fruit and feathers surrounding the season’s accessories.
Of the Moment – The spring-summer issue of Twin Magazine highlights models to watch with this story featuring some of fashion’s brightest new faces. Photographer Amy Troost snaps Magdalena Jasek, Mijo Mihaljcic, Wylie Hays, Athena Wilson, Kate Bogucharskaia, Lisa Verberght, Tess Hellfeuer, Agnes Nabuurs, Clarice Vitkauskas, Nathalia Oliviera and Sam Rollinson in a series of evocative black and white portraits. The girls wear designer looks from labels such as Chanel, Prada and Christopher Kane amongst others in the fashion spread.
Sam for J. Brand – Rising British star Sam Rollinson is enlisted for the fall 2013 campaign from J Brand. the brunette poses for Craig McDean and is styled by Karl Templer in the sleek studio images. Sam exudes pure cool in a wardrobe of leather and denim looks for the autumn season.
Mish Mash – For the first edition of Miss Vogue, a supplement to Vogue UK’s June issue, British fashion model Sam Rollinson hits fashion’s fast track in high-tech fabrics and piles of playful accessories by Adidas, Junya Watanabe, Michael by Michael Kors and others chosen by stylist Lucinda Chambers. Double Vision – The models are twice as nice in V Magazine’s spring 2013 edition. Stylist Tom van Dorpe cleverly turns Constance Jablonski, Cora Emmanuel, Liu Wen, Catherine McNeil, Mirte Maas, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Bette Franke, Alana Zimmer, Kasia Struss, Marie Piovesan and Sam Rollinson into convincing sets of fashion forward twins. Photographer Sharif Hamza was on hand to capture all the fun for this playful spread.
Boy Style – The February style book from fast fashion retailer Zara features spring style with a boyish edge. Sam Rollinson looks perfectly comfortable in a wardrobe of bold stripes, slouchy trousers and simple separates. A little sex appeal takes shape in crop tops and sheer shirts paired with denim.
