Lanvin’s Resort Getaway – Designer Alber Elbaz was inspired by a myriad of influences ranging from Madame Grès to the royal wedding for Lanvin’s resort 2012 offering. Modeled by Daphne Groeneveld and Kristina Salinovic, the pre-spring collection takes on swimwear, loose-fitting jumpers and effortlessly chic gowns in muted hues of neutral and off-white.
Bohemian Resort – Anna Sui’s latest collection for the resort 2012 season showcases the designer’s bohemian dresses with casual appeal. Modeled by Jacquelyn Jablonski, the relaxed attire features details of fringe, bows, sequins and ruching paired with flirty silhouettes.
Acne Goes Downtown – Acne’s resort 2012 collection brings its relaxed, minimal silhouettes to a new season with pops of vibrant color and solid materials laid over sheers. With tousled hair and oversize frames, the Acne girl sports an unlikely juxtaposition of fabrics, from silk and taffeta to denim and cotton, for a chill and hip effect.
Wrapsody Rap – Urban style, snowboarding fun and beach culture collide for Diane von Furstenberg’s resort 2012 collection. Relaxed silhouettes with funky prints dominated the runway as models strutted out in bright hues, soft layers and knits. Accessories include sporty sunglasses, cool satchels and oversize bags.
Future Fantastic – Donna Karan’s Resort 2012 collection looks towards the future with sculptured shapes and metal accents. Offering masculine tailoring with feminine frills, hoop skirts and the button-up t-shirt get reinvented for a sleekly chic uniform. Modeled by Saskia de Brauw and Lagerfeld muse Baptiste Giabiconi, the black and white images showcase the clean lines and relaxed silhouettes shown on the runway.
