Waves in Motion – Vogue Japan serves up a very different beachwear spread in its July 2013 edition. Rather than choosing skimpy swimsuits, stylist Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele has covered Magdalena Langrova (Next Models) up in wetsuits and other conservative activewear. It’s unusual to see summer fashions that show so little skin, but this approach also ensures the spread makes an impression. French fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier snapped the seaside shots of the Czech model.

Givenchy releases a new fragrance for men named, Gentlemen Only. The campaign stars lead of “The Mentalist” Simon Baker alongside model Cameron Russell lensed by renowned photographer Patrick Demarchelier. The actor is depicted using his umbrella to shelter Cameron in the pouring rain with a pure gentleman sense of chivalry.
The bottle is classic yet contemporary, bringing to mind an English gentleman’s flask while the fragrance projects a blue-toned reflection. Gentleman Only has a neo-aromatic woody scent that gives off a spicy freshness with notes of green mandarine orange, pink peppercorns, nutmeg and birch leaves.
Now, you can have a chance to win your very own bottle of Givenchy’s Gentlemen Only fragrance with its Facebook app. In addition, one lucky participant will get a chance to win a trip to New York City and given 2000 euros to spend at Bergdorf Goodman in the city. Karlie’s New ‘Do – Karlie Kloss took the short hair plunge for a feature in Vogue US’s January issue, spotlighting the haircut of the moment. Photographer Patrick Demarchelier captured her journey from long brown tresses to a sheared, rebellious coif.
After appearing backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with a short hairdo back in November, many wondered why Karlie took the “big chop”, and who wouldn’t cut their hair for Vogue? Hair guru, Garren, who was responsible for the iconic hairstyles of Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Amber Valletta amongst others gave the American beauty a short ‘do with a rock and roll inspired edge. “I love it,” Karlie told the magazine. “[A shorter haircut] actually takes the focus off your hair and puts the focus on you. I’m starting to realize that it’s all about confidence.”
