Zara’s Spring Girls–For its spring-summer 2014 campaign, Zara enlists a cast of rising stars including Amanda Murphy, Ashleigh Good, Kirstin Liljegren and Mijo Mihaljcic for a series of simple images lensed by Patrick Demarchelier. The girls pose with palm fronds in sleek and sporty influenced silhouettes including crop tops, eclectic prints and board shorts.
A Special Kind Of Woman – The February cover story of Vogue Japan gives us a look at the spring-summer collections with this new fashion spread photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. Leading faces Natasha Poly, (who appears on the cover wearing Chanel) Doutzen Kroes and Edie Campbell star in the photo shoot modeling the designs of Givenchy, Alexander Wang, Prada and more designer labels styled by fashion editor Nicolette Santoro.
Charlize in Dior – The fourth issue of Dior’s print bi-annual magazine gets even more star power with actress Charlize Theron. The South African beauty poses for Patrick Demarchelier in a series of images lensed in Los Angeles, California. Wearing looks from the French fashion house, Charlize impresses in chic silhouettes as well as swimwear styles with hair by Enzo Angileri of Cloutier Remix.
Karlie Wears Dior – American model Karlie Kloss follows up her schoolgirl inspired cover with a ladylike main editorial for the January issue of Vogue Japan. The Victoria’s Secret beauty wears a wardrobe featuring all looks from Dior’s resort 2014 collection captured by Patrick Demarchelier. Karlie wears the clothes so well, and it should come as no surprise since the model previously starred as the face of Dior for three seasons. Fashion editor Sabino Pantone dresses the sultry brunette in asymmetrical hemlines, color-blocking and sheer styles from the French fashion house.
Gaga on Glamour – Lady Gaga is the latest cover star of Glamour, appearing on the fashion glossy’s December 2013 edition. Inside the “Women of the Year” issue, Gaga poses for Patrick Demarchelier in out of this world looks styled by fashion editor Anne Christensen. “I became somebody else for a reason, you know. This is part of what my message is—you can become whoever you want to be, to escape your past,” she tells Glamour in the new issue which hits stores on November 6th in the US.

Tao’s Moment – Tao Okamoto is the latest cover star of Vogue Japan, appearing on the magazine’s October issue in a plaid print Celine coat and thigh-high boots. Patrick Demarchelier photographed the Japanese model who turned actress for the recent film, “The Wolverine”. Tao last appeared on Vogue Japan’s November 2009 cover.
Young Guns – Zara enlists up and comers Kirstin Lijegren, Ondria Hardin and Tilda Lindstam for the fall 2013 campaign for its younger line TRF. Patrick Demarchelier photographed the trio on gritty city streets with styling by Marie-Amélie Sauvé. The girls evoke nineties grunge in baby doll dresses, fish nets and leather ankle boots. City Streets – Zara releases its fall 2013 campaign featuring a cast of rising stars including Julia Nobis, Juliane Gruner, Caroline Brasch Nielsen, Mijo Mihaljcic and Ashleigh Good. Patrick Demarchelier shot the advertisements while Marie-Amélie Sauvé styled the girls in a mix of bohemian and youthful styles. The gang poses on the streets of London looking stylish as they take on the hustle and bustle of city life.
Fourth Time’s a Charm – Daria Werbowy gets a bit rebellious on the September cover of Vogue UK, sporting a nose ring and coral-hued jacket. Who could ever predict a facial piercing on a Vogue cover? Daria was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier for the cover and FYI, this is her fourth cover for the edition which hits newsstands on August 5th in the UK.
Girl on Fire – Cara Delevingne does her best impression of Audrey Hepburn on the September cover of Vogue Japan wearing a piled up updo and cat-eyed sunglasses which remind us of a modern day version of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. The It Girl has appeared on the British, Chinese and Korean editions of Vogue over the past twelve months. Campaigns this year include DKNY, YSL, Mulberry and Pepe Jeans, and it looks like Cara won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
