Fashion Week on Instagram–From ruling the catwalks to ruling the camera. This week the models of Instagram were busy with the major event that is New York Fashion Week. Whether giving their followers a glimpse of the glamour of the shows, or behind the scenes of upcoming shoots models like Anne V, Coco Rocha, Barbara Palvin, Naomi Campbell and Magdalena Frackowiak made our weekly Instagram roundup a must-see. Anne V, Naomi Campbell and Lydia Hearst
The second season of Oxygen’s “The Face” is set to hit the small screen on March 5th. As we reported previously, Anne V and Lydia Hearst will be joining Naomi Campbell as new mentors to twelve model hopefuls. Nigel Barker is reprising his role as the host for season two as well. Super Duper – Following up the cover, we have a look at Naomi Campbell’s feature for the Janaury issue of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore. The supermodel poses for Gan in a series of high impact black and white images. Styled by creative director Kenneth Goh, Naomi wears the glamorous spring looks of Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Celine and more designer labels.
Naomi for Bazaar – Supermodel Naomi Campbell graces the January cover of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, wearing a look from Dolce & Gabbana’s spring-summer 2014 collection. This marks Naomi’s first major cover of the New Year where she appears all smiles in a gold coin and floral print dress from the Italian brand.
Throwback DSquared2 – For its spring 2009 campaign, fashion brand DSquared2 tapped supermodels Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista for a high fashion rumble. The fierce duo fought in headgear, gowns and trench coats lensed by Steven Meisel. Fast forward to today, and the supers are still landing major advertisements including Roberto Cavalli, Chanel and Tommy Hilfiger.

Fashion for a Cause – The devastating Typhoon Haiyan that hit the Philippines has taken thousands of lives and now more than ever, the country could use some help. Photographer John-Paul Pietrus, who is half Filipino, has collaborated with supermodel Naomi Campbell for a set of prints with proceeds going to the Red Cross appeal for Typhoon Haiyan victims. Modeling for a Cause – Tommy Hilfiger teams up with Breast Health International for the seventh time to create a special, limited edition handbag where proceeds from every one sold will go towards helping women with breast cancer. The campaign taps supermodels Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer in images photographed by the renowned Patrick Demarchelier. The handbag is a midsize satchel-tote cross, with a midnight blue core and cherry red side panels.The bags will retail for $299.00 and a portion of each sale will go to the Fund for Living.
Naomi in L’Officiel – Celebrating its fifth anniversary issue, L’Officiel Netherlands makes sure its latest edition is a very special one with Naomi Campbell gracing the cover and inside pages. Phillippe Cometti lensed the British supermodel in a series of studio images where she wows in designer labels like Chanel, Versace and Dolce & Gabbana selected by stylist Marie Gibert. Nicolette Goldsmann worked as creative director for the shoot while hair stylist Lorenzo Barcella and makeup artist Renee Garnes perfect Naomi’s glam look.
The Model Issue – For its September issue, Interview Magazine taps a cast of all supermodels for a series of seven individual covers shot by Mert & Marcus. Beauties Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Daria Werbowy, Amber Valletta, Stephanie Seymour, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista all pose in dynamic black and white images for the new issue. Karl Templer and Ludivine Poiblanc worked as stylists for the covers.

Atelier Versace Fall – For the fall 2013 show from Atelier Versace, designer Donatella Versace tapped who else but supermodel Naomi Campbell to open and close the show. “I wanted a sexy and sophisticated woman with a strong attitude. Only a true icon like Naomi Campbell could open the show,” Versace says about the choice. Indeed, the autumn collection from Atelier has a strong yet feminine quality to it with an outing of body-hugging looks including floor-length gowns adorned with crystals or belted jackets which also glitter with jewels. The Versace woman is very distinct in lingerie-inspired tops, nude illusion skirts and metal-dipped jewel tones for the autumn couture season.
