Michael Kors Fall 2014–Northern California ease mixed with urban polish. This is the theme of Michael Kors’ fall-winter 2014 collection. The American sportswear king presented a solid collection for New York Fashion Week. Outerwear is the call of the season, and for fall the Kors woman wears a mix of tweed and fur as well as oversized cardigans paired with chunky scarves. The lighter pieces of the season include dreamy chiffon dresses or airy blouses such as a ruffled skirt look worn by Ashleigh Good.
Kors’ Spring Getaway – Campaign season continues with a look at the spring-summer 2014 advertising campaign from Michael Kors. Once again, Karmen Pedaru and Simon Nessman are connected for a romantic image lensed by Mario Testino in Cabrillo Beach, California. “When the weather starts to get warm, our thoughts and attitudes turn to something a little bit more romantic. We wanted to convey that relaxed, carefree sensibility in the campaign,” says Michael Kors about the new ads.
The Look of Kors – Face of all things Michael Kors, Karmen Pedaru, stars in the January cover story of Telva Magazine. The leading model wears complete looks from the American designer, who was recently named in Google’s top 2013 searches. Photographed by Jonathan Segade and styled by Alicia Chapa, Karmen exudes a casual elegance in the sportswear looks.
Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2014 – For Michael Kors’ pre-fall 2014 collection, the American designer focused on tomboy chic in an outing which Kors dubbed “Transeasonal”. The dressing is suited for a relaxed and elegant outing with staples such as oversized outerwear, menswear inspired dress shirts and slouchy trousers. Kors shows it isn’t all about daytime, however, when it comes to more dressy elements like pleated skirts, large bows and embroidered pieces for evening. Accessories for pre-fall are more sensible with briefcase satchels and Kors’ own take on the sneaker.

Always one to speak his mind, Italian designer Roberto Cavalli recently gave an interview to Style.com and gave some surprisingly frank answers. In response to whether he thinks American fashion is different than European style, Cavalli decided to not hold back when it comes to Michael Kors. Mainly, Cavalli believes that the American designer has been copying him. See his full quote below:
Silver Holiday – For his Holiday 2013 adverting campaign, designer Michael Kors tapped Mario Testino to shoot a youthful set of rock and roll chic images. “When I was designing holiday, I kept thinking about how can you have it all. I love the idea of this rock-and-roll, denim and diamonds Christmas. It’s cozy but glamorous—the perfect combination for the holidays,” says Kors. Karmen Pedaru and Simon Nessman are back once again for the holiday ads. The pair is also joined by Lais Ribeiro, Hi Jye Park and Julia Frauche in the jovial pictures.
Kors’ Leisurely Spring – Leisure was key for Michael Kors’ spring 2014 collection shown earlier today during the second to last day of New York Fashion Week. The Kors woman looks ready for summer in a section of printed swimsuits featuring bandeau bikini tops, menswear inspired shirts and wide-legged pants perfect for leisurely strolls down the beach. There is also a romantic element to the spring collection with the inclusion of light and sheer linen dresses as well as a flower print which decorated dresses, skirts and tops in shades of blue, forest green and earthy brown. Structure is added to the feminine showcase with leather belts or tops in camel hues.
Kors Fall – Karmen Pedaru is back once again for the fall 2013 catalogue from Michael Kors. The Estonian stunner poses in a series of sunny images starring alongside Simon Nessman. The blonde lives the glam life in looks that go from day to night, ranging from animal prints to black and white checkered accessories.
Sporty Sexy Glam – Following up the print advertisements for Michael Kors’ new beauty range, the American brand has released a video starring Kors face Karmen Pedaru. In the film shot on location in Los Angeles by Mario Testino, Karmen steps off a helicopter and proceeds to get made over by a glam squad. Joined by Simon Nessman, the Estonian model wows in beauty looks from the Sporty Sexy Glam line set to the tunes of Duran Duran’s “Girls on Film”.
Escape from the City – Karmen Pedaru is back once again for the fall 2013 Michael Kors advertisements photographed on location in New York City. Mario Testino lensed the Estonian model alongside Simon Nessman wearing cool shades, glam dresses and square bags for the campaign which depicts a jet-setting couple getting ready to take off and land in a helicopter. “We wanted the campaign to reflect the ‘bright lights, fast city’ inspiration of the Fall collection. It conveys an attitude of speed, endurance and glamour in sporty-chic silhouettes and electric colors,” says Kors.
