School Mates – Sticking with the runway show’s theme of a sixties prom, the fall 2012 campaign from DSquared2 takes place in a high school classroom setting, lensed by Mert & Marcus. Suit Up – Aymeline Valade joins male model Simon Nessman for the fall 2012 campaign from Giorgio Armani. Lensed by Mert & Marcus, Aymeline wears sharp suiting and oversize clutches with menswear inspired shoes. As usual, Armani goes for a sleek and elegant look with its new autumn advertisements set to hit magazines in July.
Two of a Kind – A first look at Gucci’s pre-fall 2012 campaign–the new advertisements star brunette beauties Karmen Pedaru and Nadja Bender in the label’s ultra-feminine, almost abstract prints. Photographed by Mert & Marcus, the duo showcases pure seduction with smokey eyes and lush waves.
Versace First – Versace starts off the fall campaign season with a bang, showcasing a gothic chic series of advertisements starring Dutch new face Elza Luijendijk who enters the ranks of previous faces including Gisele Bundchen, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Saskia de Brauw. Once again lensed by photography duo Mert & Marcus, the Italian fashion house chooses male models Philipp Schmidt, Dmitriy Tanner and Kacey Carrig (unpictured) for its menswear campaign. Joe McKenna styled Elza while David Bradshaw outfitted the men in London. The gothic theme works well with the autumn’s collection religious iconography and dark color palette. (WWD & RCFA)

Keira – Keira Knightley shows off her dark side for the April cover shoot of Interview Magazine. In front of Mert & Marcus’ lens, the English actress slips into ultra-modern pieces from the likes of Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Diane von Furstenberg and Yves Saint Laurent selected by fashion editor Karl Templer. With cigarette in hand, Keira rocks red lips by makeup artist Lucia Pieroni and tousled locks by hair stylist Paul Hanlon.
