Gurung’s Sumptuous Fall – For fall 2012, Prabal Gurung presented an array of form-fitting, body hugging silhouettes in a deep palette of electric blue, gold and black. Continuing a use of psychedelic prints, this season also gave way to rich metallic fabrics, sumptuous leather and feather adorned gowns. Luxe coats and sweaters served as outerwear for fall with puffy sleeves and gloves. Overall, Gurung showcased an eclectic collection–part light and part dark–which ranged from traditional sportswear to stunning gowns.
Iro Heroine – French label Iro taps Magdalena Frackowiak for its spring 2012 campaign. Photographed by Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer, the Polish beauty exudes effortless cool in a metallic jacket and white jeans.
Dior Couture – Patrick Demarchelier captures a retrospective of Dior Haute Couture ranging from 1947 to present day in a photo book that was released late last year. Below we have a preview of some of the most striking images from the 240 page, “Dior Couture”, which features models Sasha Pivovarova, Magdalena Frackowiak, Jac Jagaciak, Maryna Linchuk and others. Demarchelier describes the designs best by saying, “When you’re a fashion photographer, you must inspire a dream, with Dior Haute Couture, the dream is already there.”

Lush curls by hair stylist Neil Moodie and blushed cheeks by makeup artist Yadim perfect the ladylike ensembles.
