Night to Day – After sharing the news back in May, we finally have a look at the fall 2013 collection 3.1 Phillip Lim made in collaboration with Target. The concept of the range is simple; focusing on looks that go from night to noon to daytime. The collection is rooted in a color palette of neutral hues for the autumn season with a cool selection of stylish skirts, jackets and sweaters. Hitting Target stores on September 15th, prices start at $19.99 and go up to $299.99 for apparel while accessories are between $19.99 to $59.99.
Spring Has Sprung – Swedish-based label Diana Orving taps Jesse Laitinen (Mink MGMT.) to shoot its spring-summer 2014 collection. Sinsiana (NMG Models) dons the new season’s abstract prints, sheer materials and easy silhouettes in these moody images. Sofie Krunegård worked as stylist for the look book images.
Stella Lingerie – Stella McCartney’s collection of lingerie for the fall-winter season gets spotlighted in a lookbook starring Marloes Horst. The Dutch beauty models the line of alluring bodysuits, chemises, camisole tops and all-in-ones in the playful yet sexy images. The pieces are all about mix and matching with everything ranging from wild animal prints to classic white lace designs.
Pray for Surf – Luv Aj designer Amanda Thomas gets inspired by her Australian roots for a collection inspired by shark teeth. The teeth for the new range are modeled after casts of million year old Megalodon teeth. The lookbook images star Beth Whitson posing in a dreamy water-themed setting photographed by Claire Thomas. The New Style – French label Sandro releases its fall-winter lookbook for the new season. The images feature Ondria Hardin in an outing of slick and truly modern designs. Sandro covers outerwear with boxy silhouettes adorned with fur, metal accents and leather. Boyish separates such as collared shirts and tapered pants add some streetwear cool to the collection while femininity shines with flirty dresses and pleated skirts.
Early Fall – The early fall lookbook from Urban Outfitters heads to Paris’ countryside and city streets with these dreamy images shot by Lina Scheynius. Models Gabby Dover, Moa Aberg, Magda Laguinge and Nadine Loepold are the very picture of laid-back elegance in an outing of printed trousers, casual denim and crop tops styled by Trudy Nelson. The girls get accessorized with retro-inspired frames and ankle booties.
California Dreaming – Independent Los Angeles-based label d.Ra releases its fall-holiday 2013 lookbook featuring laid-back and California cool designs. The brand’s founder Diana Ra created looks for the girl who likes to dress up but does not want to be overdressed. Model Raneth sports the season’s eclectic patterns, airy tops and easy button-downs in the sunny lookbook images shot by David Lim. FYI, the jewelry for this shoot is from Parra Jewelry.
Pismo Beach – Josephine Skriver paints a rebellious picture, posing on dune buggies and motor bikes for the pre-fall lookbook from Revolve Clothing shot on location at Pismo Beach. The Danish model is photographed by Christopher Shintani and styled by Marco Rodriguez in a wardrobe of army camouflage, leather and animal prints from labels such as Wildfox, Equipment, Textile Elizabeth and James and Jeffery Campbell.
Roshambo: Paper-Scissors – Free People follows up its three-part series called, Rashambo, with its August catalogue starring actor Christopher Abbott and model Sheila Marquez. Beauties Ana Girardot, Sabrina Nait, Alba Galocha and Stef Van Der Laan are also featured in the story which captures Sheila and Chris rekindling their romance in Paris. Throughout the film, fall pieces such as denim, boho prints and leather jackets are featured.
April Pump in Cheetah Print
Shoe Club – Club Monaco launches its very first shoe collection with an autumn-winter outing of timeless footwear styles. This season introduces a pump, bootie, flat, sandal and slippers in an array of colors and prints ranging from cheetah patterns to classic black. Handcrafted in Italy, the prices start at $150.00 and go up to $350.00. “They can work this season, and still be worn seasons from now,” says Caroline Belhumeur, the Senior Vice President of Women’s Design at Club Monaco, about the new collection.
