Skyline Couture – Karl Lagerfeld appeared to be inspired by air travel and stewardess uniforms for Chanel’s spring 2012 haute couture collection presented earlier today. The Grand Palais was transformed into the interior of an airplane with models walking down the aisles in elongated silhouettes and extended shoulder winged sleeves. Playing up the jetsetter theme, blue was a dominate hue for spring with sky blue, sapphire and navy all making an appearance. Amid the blue display, there is crystal beading, drop pocket dresses and pleated skirts.
Couture Mood – With spring 2012 Haute Couture, Dior atelier Bill Gaytten delivers a ladylike collection featuring a tame color palette of ash, black, plum and ivory. Cinched waists, sheer tops and full, pleated skirts dominate the runway this season. Playing with prints, the Dior woman also wears hounds tooth, floral patterns and gradient lines for spring. The finale dresses were demure as well, showing a moody mix of black and grey with just a touch of sparkle.
Back to the Runway – Atelier Versace makes its first appearance on the runway since 2004 with the fashion house’s spring 2012 couture show. This season, the Atelier line has all the trappings of a classic Versace collection–body hugging silhouettes, metallic accents, bustier cuts and jewel tones which all scream sultry elegance. Spring also showcases a variety of lacework with sheer cutouts for a romantic touch. Beauty for the show included a high ponytail paired with a seductive smokey eye.
Just Party – Just Cavalli enlists Terry Richardson for its spring 2012 campaign which stars Jac Jagaciak, Lindsey Wixson and Ruby Aldridge alongside male models Josh Beech and Benjamin Eidem. Wearing Cavalli’s signature prints and denim, the group lives a rock and roll lifestyle complete with tattoos, sunglasses and glittering accessories.
Seaside Spring – Mulberry enlists models Lindsey Wixson and Frida Gustavsson for its spring 2012 campaign shot by Tim Walker. With art direction by Ronnie Cookie Newhouse, the girls take to Brighton Beach in spring brights and loose-fitting silhouettes. Cruise Controller – Lindsey Wixson is a delightful sight in pieces from the cruise 2012 collections featured in the November cover shoot of W Korea. Photographed by Phil Poynter and styled by Mary Alice Stephenson, Lindsey shines brightly in the colorful designs of Chanel, Prabal Gurung and Narciso Rodriguez among others. A cropped haircut and smokey eye have the American model evoking ’20s style with a modern flair.

Versace Boom – The fashion gods look down upon us as we get a glimpse the full campaign for the Versace and H&M collaboration. The line spares no expense when it comes to talent featuring top models Abbey Lee Kershaw, Sasha Pivovarova, Daphne Groeneveld and Lindsey Wixson lensed by Mert & Marcus. With styling by Joe McKenna, the colorful and pattern-filled looks pay homage to iconic Versace pieces and campaigns.
Red Hot Fashion – Lindsey Wixson and Terry Richardson pair up once again for the October edition of Harper’s Bazaar US. Styled by Brana Wolf in fiery red ensembles from the likes of Lanvin, Donna Karan, Michael Kors and Derek Lam, Lindsey makes mundane acts such as eating breakfast and mowing the lawn–a main event.
Lindsey in Town – A smiling Lindsey Wixson gets tapped as the cover girl of Oyster Magazine’s October-November issue photographed by Will Davidson.
