Thursday Eats – Back in 2010, Barney’s published a holiday catalogue named “Have a Foodie Holiday” where model Kirsi Pyrhonen showed off some healthy eats in snapshot style images photographed by Magnnus Unnar. Portrait of a Model – For its fall-winter campaign, Karen Millen enlists a cast of four up and coming faces for a series of portraits lensed by British photographer David Bailey. Models Karlina Caune, Grace Gao, Kirsi Pyrhonen and Nur Hellman impress in stand-out autumn fashion pieces ranging from stylish knits to crisp outerwear. Viv Wilcock of October Sun worked as art director for the shoot while Katy England styled the advertisements.
World of Interiors – Kirsi Pyrhonen models designer labels in the spring 2013 issue of Tank Magazine shot by Jeff Hahn. Pyrhonen’s sleek and sensuous look was created by stylist Nobuko Tannawa. Rich Autumn – Finnish label Samuji enlists Kirsi Pyrhonen for its fall-winter 2013 lookbook. Photographed by Johnny Kangasniemi and styled by Minttu Vesala, the brunette models the rich textures and moody shades of the new season. “The fall collection is easy and fun to work with. Maybe it has to do with the Northern weather. It is like the clothes have a bigger purpose since they are needed to keep you warm,” says the label’s Head Designer Samu-Jussi Koski.
Dressed in Wool – Kirsi Pyrhönen is stunning and refined in these dark wool ensembles by Marni, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and more, all selected by stylist Sakke Hytönen for the January issue of Elle Finland. Photographed by Jesse Laitinen, the tweed pieces combined with full length skirts, jackets and simple accessories make for a warm and stylish look on any crisp cool day. The look is topped off with relaxed hair by Kalle Eklund and soft makeup done by Nina Belkhir.
Fuchsia Princess – Photographer Peter Gehrke lenses model Kirsi Pyrhonen in elegantly embellished ensembles for the October issue of Elle Sweden. Kirsi’s fushia tipped tresses by Erika Svedjevik boldly complement a wardrobe of dark, moody colors in clean cuts from labels such as Celine, Prada and Miu Miu styled by Lisa Lindqwister.
L’oeuvre au Noir – Kirsi Pyrhonen is ready for the fall season in mostly black, heavily layered looks for Jean-François Campos’ (Brydges Mackinney) latest work featured in L’Express Styles September. Stylist Mika Mizutani pieces together a wardrobe of modern shapes and standout headgear for Kirsi to wear with hair by Damien Boissinot and makeup by Max Delorme.
Multiplicity – The fall 2012 campaign from Swedish retailer NK offers a series of trippy images starring Kirsi Pyrhonen in a room of mirrors with art direction by Garbergs. Captured by Peter Gehrke and styled by Robert Rydberg, Kirsi wears an eclectic mix of prints, furs and textures matched up with decorative headpieces. Hair stylist Dejan Cekanovic creates the brunette’s tousled tresses while makeup artist Anya De Tobon gives Kirsi a luminous glow. / Set design by Marika Åkerblom
Nature Made – Better late than never, we have a look at Celine’s complete fall 2011 campaign starring Kirsi Pyrhonen, Monika Sawicka and Emilia Nawarecka photographed by Juergen Teller. Wearing the sleek and minimal designs of Phoebe Philo, the trio poses with cherry blossoms and fronds in the clean-cut looks.
