Evoking the seventies, Malgosia poses in front of mirrors showing the multi-faceted designs of autumn ranging from bias-cut dresses to gold-dipped pants. Riccardo Ruini worked on art direction for the shoot while George Cortina styled the Polish beauty.
A Bohemian Calling – Letting out her inner bohemian, model Anja Rubik graces the pages of Vogue Japan’s June issue in seventies-inspired regalia complete with decorative jewelry and platform sandals. Spring Heroine – Sonia Rykiel creative director April Crichton is inspired by English musician Kate Bush for the label’s spring-summer 2013 collection. Model Danielle Zinaich evokes the individuality and bohemian spirit of Bush in slick images shot by Katja Rahlwes for the new season’s catalogue. Romantic shapes with a Japanese influence come in poetic pastels such as powder pink, baby blue or Cadillac green. The Sonia Rykiel woman also embraces her masculine side with a section of smoking jackets, embroidered ties and cropped pants. Spring introduces two new handbag lines as well, The Grenelle and The Mazarine.
Under Dressed – Juicy Couture enlists Namibian stunner Behati Prinsloo for its Jeans line’s fall 2012 campaign. Photographer Katja Rahlwes captures Behati in topless looks featuring pants in traditional and metallic styles. A carefree look by hair stylist Rutger and makeup artist Rose-Marie Swift complete the brunette’s understated glamour.
Accessory Queen – Julia Stegner dons crimped hair and even bolder accessories for the October edition of Vogue Japan. Lensed by Katja Rahlwes, Julia slips into the season’s trend of bold prints and pumped up volume with decadent designs selected by fashion editor Sissy Vian. Wearing Giambiasta Valli, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana and others, Julia matches the decor with standout looks that pop.
