The New Chic – For its cruise 2014 advertisements, Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld captured models Ashleigh Good, Nadja Bender and Dalianah Arekion in a series of black and white images. The girls also starred in the recent Chanel Prestige eyewear campaign. In the Lagerfeld-snapped photographs, the trio wears relaxed, resort wear in the images with a retro, slightly thirties vibe.
The Prestige – Following up its fall campaign, French fashion house Chanel releases a series of eyewear advertisements for its Prestige Collection. Karl Lagerfeld photographed rising stars Nadja Bender and Ashleigh Good in the black and white snaps. The duo looks nerdy chic with greased hair, white button-up t-shirts and oversized frames.
Lindsey Lands Chanel – American beauty Lindsey Wixson is set to be the next star of Chanel’s upcoming spring 2014 advertising campaign. According to WWD, the Kansas-born model was photographed by creative director Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel’s Rue Cambon studio. This isn’t the first time Lindsey has worked with Lagerfeld; she walks the Chanel shows quite frequently, appears in films for the brand and also starred in the fall 2012 advertisements.
Virtual Sanity – The fall 2013 campaign from Chanel enlists Soo Joo, Chiharu Okunugi and Ashleigh Good for a series of futuristic-themed portraits photographed by the brand’s creative director, Karl Lagerfeld. The trio poses–even sometimes floating with their accessories in tow for the French fashion house’s trademark tweeds, lean silhouettes and camellia flower accents.
Cara Goes French – Cara Delevingne racks up yet another major fashion cover with the September issue of French publication, Numéro. The British model shows off an alluring gaze in the studio image snapped by Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld. Wearing a black trench and showing off her tattooed hand, Cara looks seductive for the new issue which celebrates idols.
Singular Beauties – Harper’s Bazaar US’ Global Fashion Director Carine Roitfeld collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld on a new shoot for the glossy’s September issue. The editorial features a diverse range of women including actresses Scarlett Johansson and Dakota Fanning as well as models like Lily Donaldson, Karen Elson and Carmen Dell’Orefice, Liya Kebede. The story will appear in the September issue of all 29 editions of the magazine, also including the premiere Germany and Japan editions, both on newsstands in September.

When in Rome – Shot on location in Rome, Italy, Fendi takes its fall 2013 campaign to the city’s rooftops in these glamorous images lensed by the brand’s Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld. Models Cara Delevingne and Saskia de Brauw are the faces of the season, preening and posing in the label’s signature furs as well as color-blocking, feminine silhouettes and patterned heels. This isn’t the first time Cara and Saskia have starred in a campaign together. The duo fronted the Chanel cruise 2013 advertisements which were also shot by Lagerfeld.

From Monte Carlo – Model Natalia Vodianova held the fourth edition of her charity the Naked Heart Foundation’s fundraiser held at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. The Love Ball featured fashion royalty and real royalty with appearances by Karl Lagerfeld, the Princess of Monaco, Ulyana Sergeenko, Bono and more. The event included performances by Maestro Valery Gergiev and Prima ballerina Diana Vishneva of St. Petersburg’s Mariinsky orchestra and ballet, Grammy award winners bass soloist Ildar Abdrazakov and violinist, Maxim Vengerov.
Karl Lagerfeld x Tokidoki – Karl Lagerfeld’s latest capsule collection sees the designer get miniaturized with a selection of accessories, ready-to-wear and dolls made in collaboration with Japanese lifestyle brand Tokidoki. The German designer’s famed cat Choupette also makes an appearance with a doll named, Mr Choupette. “I am very flattered that I have become a ‘tokidoki,’” says Karl Lagerfeld. “I always loved them and I am very happy to be one of them.” The tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld is available on Net a Porter and concept stores in Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris.
Paris-Edimbourg – Inspired by the Scottish influence of Chanel’s pre-fall 2013 Paris-Edimbourg collection, the iconic fashion house tapped actress Tilda Swinton for the collection’s campaign. Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld lensed the Scottish blonde for the new advertisements set against a backdrop of medieval tapestries. Rich tartan and ornate embellishments bring a new twist to the transitional season.
