Derby Season – The latest online story from V Magazine does a fashionable take on derby season with a story full of designer hats, lensed by Jason Kim. Danish model Josephine Skriver poses in the eye-catching millinery and dress work of Alexander Mcqueen, Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane, Tom Ford, Proenza Schouler and more styled by Yana Kamps. Andre Gunn gives Josephine disheveled hair while makeup artist Robert Greene adds a touch of red eyeshadow.
Feeling Blu – Blumarine’s diffusion line, Blugirl, is aimed at the younger set and for its spring 2013 campaign the label selects Josephine Skriver for a series of elegantly relaxed images. The Danish beauty poses languidly in snaps by Angelo Pennetta, wearing the delicate and flirty designs of the new season.
Prabal x Target – After being announced back in October, we finally have a look at the Prabal Gurung for Target collection, and it does not disappoint. Josephine Skriver models the spring collection of flirty dresses and stylish separates in these new lookbook images. Apparel ranges from $19.99 to $199.99 while accessories and shoes are priced between $12.99 and $39.99. The Prabal Gurung for Target collection hits Target stores and online on February 10th.
Some Enchanted Evening – Wearing some of winter’s most romantic pieces, Josephine Skriver travels to the countryside in Yelena Yemchuk’s (2b Management) dreamy images featured in Harper’s Bazaar UK December. Styled by Cathy Kasterine, Josephine enchants from head to toe in the sumptuous designs of Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, Dior and Salvatore Ferragamo amongst others. On beauty are hair stylist Chi Wong and makeup artist Hiromi Ueda with understated style.
Autumn Dreaming – Magdalena Frackowiak and Josephine Skriver star in MAX&CO.’s fall advertising campaign wearing the label’s elegant autumn outerwear in the sunny streets of Paris. Rare Beauty – Gemfields, the world’s largest colored gemstone producer, recently launched a six month campaign featuring Josephine Skriver as the face. The new advertisements support its socially and environmentally conscious emeralds and rubies with the tagline ‘Rare Coloured Gemstones’. Boo George photographed Josephine with art direction from Jonny Lu in the stunning images.
The Super Color – Peter Pilotto’s resort 2013 collection offers an explosion of colors with kaleidoscopic prints and patterns created digitally by designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos. Modeled by Ava Smith and Josephine Skriver, the silhouette of the transitional season is rigid with above the knee skirts matched with short or long-sleeve tops contrasting the chaotic patterns. The resort collection also offers pants and jumpsuits in bold, all over prints inspired by medieval illuminated manuscripts found in London’s Royal Library. Day to Night – For resort 2013, Donna Karan embraces an array of elegant skirts and dresses which are as practical as they are stylish. Modeled by Josefien Rodermans, Josephine Skriver, Madison Headrick and Romee Strijd, the new collection is steeped in a color palette of traditional black and white, silvery grey, taupe and vibrant pink. Silhouettes for the transitional season are ladylike, accentuating the waist or bust-line. Blink Blink – Following the footsteps of Helena Christensen and Freja Beha, blue-eyed Josephine Skriver is the latest model to put Denmark on the map of fashion. In the new issue of Tush Magazine, photographer Markus Jans captures this dazzling Dane showing off her natural beauty.
