A Classic Reworked – Friends & Associates, a New York-based label created by fashion editor Matthew Edelstein, follows up its resort collection with an outing of gingham prints for spring 2013. Friends’ goal is to make fashionable basics that can be easily incorporated into anyone’s wardrobe, and the new season does precisely that with simple silhouettes modeled by Lisa Verberght. Cara – Donning rocker chic looks with a hint of eccentricity, Cara Delevingne graces the pages of The Journal #32. Hugh Lippe photographs the British beauty with styling by Joanne Blades in a swankily furnished setting. Models Nastya Kusakina and Vasilisa Pavlova wear the simple silhouettes matched with playful patterns and flower-decorated hats in these lookbook images. Small Flowers Crack Concrete – After taking a look at the cover yesterday, we have an exclusive first look at Russh Magazine’s main editorial starring Mirte Maas. In front of Hugh Lippe’s lens, Mirte is a stunning vision in ivory looks styled by Gillian Wilkins which feature the work of Carven, Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander and Stella McCartney amongst others. Mussed hair by Chi Wong and barely there makeup by Maki H give Mirte an all natural look in the romantic images.
