Luxe Accessories – Italian luxury label Gucci once again taps Nadja Bender for its cruise 2014 accessories campaign. Photographed by Sølve Sundsbø and styled by Beat Bolliger, the Danish beauty models the Soho Bag and Bamboo Shopper with a relaxed yet sleek style. Nadja previously posed for the brand in Gucci’s fall 2012 campaign.
Sunrise, Sunset – The resort 2014 campaign from Gucci evokes a leisurely glamour with these advertisements starring Andreea Diaconu. The Romanian model has appeared in an online campaign called “Bamboo Confidential” for the Italian fashion house previously. Inspired by the colors of dusk, the resort images were photographed by Mert & Marcus and feature Andreea posing alongside male model Adrien Sahores.
Throwback Gucci – This Thursday we look back at the fall 2004 campaign from Gucci. Daria Werbowy starred in the advertisements shot by Mario Testino. The fall 2004 season marked Tom Ford’s last season designing for the Italian brand, and you can see Ford’s mark with the sleek and sexy designs featuring cut-away gowns and fur embellishments. Male models Maximiliano Patane and Alexis Viñas joined Daria for the super-glam advertisements. Fast forward to today and Gucci’s fall 2013 campaign stars Abbey Lee Kershaw.
Bamboo Confidential – Romanian model Andreea Diaconu stars in a new digital campaign for Gucci titled, “Bamboo Confidential”. The dark-haired bombshell poses for Benjamin Grillon in the Italian fashion brand’s leopard prints and sleek silhouettes in images and a film. Katie Shillingford worked as stylist for the shoot. The film was shot on location in London at The Savoy and highlights the fall-winter collection’s Bamboo Shopper and Lady Lock handbags.
Blake at Gucci’s Runway Show – Actress and fashion darling Blake Lively attended the Gucci spring 2014 runway show earlier today during Milan Fashion Week. The blonde star wore a head to toe look from the Italian label including a leather halter dress in mustard yellow, stiletto heels and a matching purse.
Gucci’s Sport Luxe – Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini embraced an outing of sport luxe with artistic influences for the brand’s spring 2014 collection shown during the first day of Milan Fashion Week. Athletic staples such as mesh t-shirts, jogging pants and basketball shorts made an appearance on the runway. The street style selection was given a high fashion edge with bold patterns emulating the work of Art Nouveau artist Erté. When not wearing sporty designs, the Gucci woman wears kimono robes or sheer dresses in easy silhouettes.
Amanda in Gucci – Continuing her whirlwind promotion tour for the film, “Lovelace”, actress Amanda Seyfried attended the movie’s Hollywood premiere yesterday in a glittering Gucci dress. The blonde paired the look with Givenchy sandals and jewelry from Graziela Gems. Amanda’s elegant updo and smokey eyes bring some glam to the seductive look.
A Season for Glam – Stars of the brand’s spring-summer 2013 campaign Anja Rubik and Karmen Pedaru appear in Gucci’s iPad magazine of the same season–Gucci Style. The girls are joined by Clement Chabernaud in colorful images lensed by Benjamin Grillon. Rosie on Top – Following up her cover for Glamour Magazine with boy group One Direction, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley lands another fashion glossy with the September issue of Numéro Tokyo. The British beauty wears a feather embellished top from Gucci’s fall 2013 collection on the cover. Rosie’s blonde locks lay sleek and straight for the glossy image.
The Kershaw Comeback – Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw took a break from modeling to act in the upcoming “Mad Max: Fury Road” film. We have seen her in a few things this past year, but what better way to make her official return than star in the fall 2013 campaign from Gucci? The alluring beauty trades in her previously blonde locks for black tresses in the studio images shot by Mert & Marcus which also feature male model Adrien Sahores. The dark look reminds us of Rooney Mara in “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” complete with leather, autumn shades and a slick coif.
