Portrait of a Model – For its fall-winter campaign, Karen Millen enlists a cast of four up and coming faces for a series of portraits lensed by British photographer David Bailey. Models Karlina Caune, Grace Gao, Kirsi Pyrhonen and Nur Hellman impress in stand-out autumn fashion pieces ranging from stylish knits to crisp outerwear. Viv Wilcock of October Sun worked as art director for the shoot while Katy England styled the advertisements.
Hymn to the Moon – Bjarne Jonasson (Atelier Management) captures Chinese beauty Grace Gao in Eastern inspired beauty looks for the latest issue of Rodeo Magazine. With styling by Ellen Af Geijerstam, Grace models messy hair and ivory foundation courtesy of hair stylist Daniel Martin and makeup artist Lynsey Alexander.
Jewellery Allure – Vogue China taps Stockton Johnson for a story of jewelry and elegant fashion published in its February issue. Starring Xiao Wen and Grace Gao styled by Yi Guo, the two beauties shine in sparkling gems from Tasaki by Thakoon and clothing by Dolce & Gabbana. Metallic eye shadow and red lips bring a mature sophistication to the glamorous wardrobe.
Giving us one the first winter themed editorials of the season, photographer Mei Yuan Gui shoots a story of snow and fur for November’s Numéro China. Starring Grace Gao and outfitted by Joseph Carle, Grace wears nomadic inspired ensembles featuring the work of Jean Paul Gaultier, Ralph Lauren, Chanel and more.
