Posing in Pink – Photographed during the height of cherry blossom season at Brooklyn’s Botanical Garden, Bette Franke is pretty in pastels for the August edition of Vogue Japan. The Dutch model poses for Sharif Hamza in vibrant looks from the likes of Rodarte, Miu Miu and Chanel selected by Giovanna Battaglia. A Shapely Transition – Max Mara plays on oversized, menswear influenced shapes for its pre-fall 2013 collection. The looks, modeled by Alana Zimmer, come in mostly nude and neutral shades with the main staples being double-breasted jackets and slouchy trousers. The masculine elements of the collection are downplayed with fur embellishments, usage of color-blocking and column-shaped dresses.
