Love Story – Christopher Abbott of the hit HBO show “Girls” joins Sheila Marquez for the February catalogue from Free People. The pair poses in front of Guy Aroch’s lens in a series of romantic images just in time for Valentine’s Day. Sheila and Christopher also star in a short film titled, “Roshambo”, depicting a whirlwind love story between the two set in Brooklyn that begins with coffee and a game of roshambo. Into the Great Wide Open – Martha Hunt looks ready for the upcoming spring in a mix of flirty and tomboyish styles shot for Free People’s January lookbook. The clothing has a rustic vibe with neutral hues, rugged denim and western-inspired detailing. Pants are flared or fitted while tops are adorned with ruffles and lace. Girls on Bikes – For its January catalogue, Free People enlists a mix of models and “real girls” to wear the latest styles as they ride their bikes in the streets of Amsterdam. Guy Aroch captures the girls in flirty and practical spring pieces including sheer dresses, casual denim, fringe jackets and floral prints. Free People will also sell a limited edition collection of bike apparel for the month of January; the line features hand-painted bike seats, embossed handlebar grips and crotchet skirt guards.
A Road Less Traveled – Free People enlists Elsa Sylvan for its December style book inspired by travel ready looks and aptly titled, “The Road Less Traveled”. Models Andreea Diaconu, Anais Pouliot, Martha Hunt, Liza Golden and Leaf revisit classic fairytales including The Princess and the Pea, Snow White, The Snow Queen, Twelve Dancing Princesses and Rumpelstiltskin while wearing enchanting winter looks.
Harvest Moon – Cato Van Ee looks ready for fall in Free People’s new Harvest Moon style book which features cozy autumn looks inspired by the mystic energies of the season. Anna Palma captures the Dutch model in an eclectic mix of bohemian fashion; placing focus on tribal prints, heavy knits and feminine separates.
