Day Out – Another day, another campaign for British beauty Cara Delevingne. The blonde stars in the fall 2013 campaign from UK-based denim label, Pepe Jeans. Cara looks casual chic as she models the brand’s autumn knits, cat-eye shaped sunglasses and laid-back denim. The advertisements where shot by Josh Olins and styled by Clare Richardson.
The Modern Beauties – For its fall 2013 campaign, David Yurman taps top models Kate Upton, Dree Hemingway, Anais Mali and Careinel Menghia for a series of black and white images shot by Peter Lindbergh. The girls impress in simple knits and understated beauty while donning the brand’s precious jewels. Yurman’s previous campaign stars include Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen.
Very French – For its fall 2013 campaign, Sonia Rykiel celebrates the work of famous French graphic designers like Bernard Villemot and Raymond Savignac. Model Sam Rollinson poses next to cut-out designs in a set of studio images shot by Mert & Marcus and styled by Marie Chaix. This marks the first advertisements under the direction of designer Geraldo da Conceicao which focuses on pantsuits, knits and outerwear.
The Night Life – Andreea Diaconu lands another campaign this season with the fall 2013 advertisements from Pierre Balmain. The Romanian model is joined by Paolo Anchisi on the streets of Paris outside the Bouffes Parisiens for a set of nighttime snapped images shot by Lachlan Bailey. Stylist Geraldine Saglio worked on the shoot which features the autumn collection’s structured outerwear and pant looks.
The New Classics – Dutch painters like Rembrandt and Johannes Vermeer served as inspiration for Valentino’s fall 2013 campaign starring a bevy of models. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shot the campaign which features mostly newcomers including Maud Welzen, Kati Nescher, Magdalena Jasek, Irina Kravchenko, Sam Rollinson, Erika Labanauskaite, Tamara Weijenberg, Laura Kampman, Nouk Torsing and Sasha Luss. The girls pose next to still-life images that reflect the Flemish style including flowers, fruit and feathers surrounding the season’s accessories.
Spell it Out – Rising star Ashleigh Good is the latest model to front Max Mara’s advertisements, appearing in the fall 2013 campaign from the Italian label. Mario Sorrenti snapped the New Zealand beauty in a set of images including oversized letters in the background. Carine Roitfeld styled the model in looks from the autumn season ranging from Max Mara’s signature outerwear to slouchy pajama pants.
The Shape of Things to Come – For Rebecca Minkoff’s fall 2013 campaign, the brand taps Brazilian model Aline Weber for a set of experimental and playful images. The blonde poses for Ben Weller, appearing next to cursive text and graphic shapes. We suppose the decorative elements represent the contrast of the new season’s clothing which focuses on feminine silhouettes but also offers bold prints and menswear inspired cuts. Makeup artist Justine Purdue (Tim Howard Management) and hair stylist Mark Hampton worked on beauty for the shoot.
When in Rome – Shot on location in Rome, Italy, Fendi takes its fall 2013 campaign to the city’s rooftops in these glamorous images lensed by the brand’s Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld. Models Cara Delevingne and Saskia de Brauw are the faces of the season, preening and posing in the label’s signature furs as well as color-blocking, feminine silhouettes and patterned heels. This isn’t the first time Cara and Saskia have starred in a campaign together. The duo fronted the Chanel cruise 2013 advertisements which were also shot by Lagerfeld.
Fall Fantasy – Prada has released its Real Fantasies film for the fall-winter 2013 season made in collaboration with creative team AMO. The men and women shows overlap in the video which runs for a little over two minutes. Artwork for the film was created once again by Lok Jansen and Jeroen Koolhaas. In the surreal project, film noir mystery is juxtaposed with everyday elements as we see the autumn collection in a unique light.
Roundabout – For a third consecutive season, Dutch designer Peet Dullaert enlists photography duo Meinke Klein to shoot his campaign for the fall 2013 season. Model Vivian Witjes poses in askew poses for the autumn-winter advertisements complete with Roman-style columns reflecting the structure of the clothing. The dark-haired beauty also wears Dullaert’s rendez-vous, voile, and Limited Jewelry collections in the intriguing snaps.
