The Dutch-born beauties strike elegant poses in the brand’s graphic prints and feminine silhouettes. Eastern inspired shapes such as origami pleating and razor sharp cuts bring some edge to the season.
Fantasy of the Future – Keeping with tradition, Prada releases its biannual Real Fantasies lookbook for the fall 2012 season. For autumn, Prada looked towards the future with intergalactic imagery contrasting the season’s psychedelic prints. The backstage images were photographed by Phil Meech while the artwork was made by Jerden Koolhaas and Lok Jansen. Some of our favorite models appear in the lookbook including Lindsey Wixson, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Ginta Lapina, Anne Vyalitsyna, Guinevere van Seenus, Elza Luijendijk, Katryn Kruger and Kasia Struss to name a few.

Carrossees – Numéro’s latest cover girl Lindsey Wixson joins Sui He, Elza Luijendijk and Jasmine Tookes for this striking editorial lensed by Sebastian Kim. Styled by Charles Varenne, the girls show lots of leg and contrast beautifully against a setting of industrial decay. Black Autumn – Italian fashion house Versace enlists Dutch newcomer Elza Luijendijk for its fall 2012 campaign photographed in London by Mert & Marcus. Styled by Joe McKenna, Elza slips into short and shiny ensembles featuring crosses, sequins and metallic accents. A short blonde coif and dark lips complete the gothic chic looks.
Prada’s Virtual Labyrinth – After a preview earlier this week, we have a look at the complete fall 2012 campaign from Prada. The autumn advertisements star Anne Vyalitsyna, Magdalena Frackowiak, Iselin Steiro, Elza Luijendijk, Madison Headrick and Vanessa Axente in a virtual labyrinth captured by Steven Meisel. Geometric prints, pantsuits and heavily decorated accessories dominate the elegant images with multi-colored hair and raccoon eyes for beauty.

The Divine Invasion – Photographer Ben Toms and makeup artist Peter Phillips team up for an abstract beauty story featuring delicate butterfly ornaments for the June issue of Dazed & Confused. Starring Elza Luijendijk with styling by Robbie Spencer, metallic and ornate designs from labels such as Christopher Kane, Haider Ackermann and Yohji Yamamoto are showcased in a grungy setting. Versace First – Versace starts off the fall campaign season with a bang, showcasing a gothic chic series of advertisements starring Dutch new face Elza Luijendijk who enters the ranks of previous faces including Gisele Bundchen, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Saskia de Brauw. Once again lensed by photography duo Mert & Marcus, the Italian fashion house chooses male models Philipp Schmidt, Dmitriy Tanner and Kacey Carrig (unpictured) for its menswear campaign. Joe McKenna styled Elza while David Bradshaw outfitted the men in London. The gothic theme works well with the autumn’s collection religious iconography and dark color palette. (WWD & RCFA)
