Although the cover has yet to surface, the January 2010 edition of Vogue Nippon has started with a bang. For the new year, photographer Angelo Pennetta was tapped to bring his refreshingly candid style to a shoot featuring rising star, Dree Hemingway. Styled by Francesca Burns in an innovative mix of pattern and texture, Dree takes a sight-seeing trip to London’s Trafalgar Square in “The Day She Saw the City”.
Clad in black and photographed by Thierry Le Gouès, Coco Rocha, Ali Stephens, Karmen Pedaru, Dree Hemingway, Constance Jablonski, Kinée Diouf, Melo Dagault, Nikka, Maryna Linchuk, Tania D. and Lakshmi Menon appear as the cover girls of the latest issue of French Revue de Modes.
Season after season, one of the most anticipated campaigns comes from the Gucci brand. Not only are we interested in who will be in the ads but who will photograph them. For the fall-winter season, Inez & Vinoodh play the role of photographers and the models include Adrian Bosch, Benoni Loos, Christian Brylle, Gerhard Freidl, Matvey Lykov, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Anja Rubik, Dree Hemingway, Freja Beha Erichsen, Jacquetta Wheeler, Jamie Bochert, Myf Shepherd, Natasha Poly, and Raquel Zimmermann. With such a large and varied cast, it seems like almost everybody gets their equal share of the spotlight.
Meghan Collison makes a consecutive showing in Vogue Germany this year. The spread which is entitled “Dream On”, also includes model Dree Hemingway and was shot by photography duo Claudia Knoepfel & Stefan Indlekofer.
