Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2014–Designers Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce traded in last season’s Sicilian imagery for fairy tale fashion with Dolce & Gabbana’s fall-winter 2014 collection presented during Milan Fashion Week. Set against a dreamy forest backdrop, models hit the catwalk in an enchanting mix of medieval hoods, daytime dresses, floral embellishments and light and airy gowns that look like something Sleeping Beauty would wear. Woodland creatures such as owls, squirrels and foxes embellish swing coats. The Dolce woman accessorizes in colorful jewelry on her neck and ears while gems are strewn across boxy clutches and gloves.
Throwback Dolce & Gabbana–For this week’s edition of Throwback Thursday, we’re taking a look back at Dolce & Gabbana’s spring-summer 2008 campaign which featured Gemma Ward, Lily Donaldson and Jessica Stam. The girls posed for Steven Klein in the Italian label’s colorful dresses made with variegated prints and dramatic shapes. And now in 2014, Dolce & Gabbana’s more recent campaigns have been all about celebrating Sicilian culture with the latest spring advertisements featuring Eva Herzigova, Catherine McNeil and more.
Kate’s Dolce Life – A new fragrance by Dolce & Gabbana, “Dolce”, is set to launch this month and the face of the campaign is a familiar one. Canadian beauty Kate King, who previously appeared in the Italian label’s Baroque Jewelry advertisements, gives a feminine look in a white bustier from Dolce & Gabbana. The scent is said to be sensual, soft and feminine with notes of white florals such as the white Amaryllis, narcissus and water-lily flowers.
Sicilian Party – Lensed by designer Domenico Dolce, models Eva Herzigova, Catherine McNeil, Bianca Balti and Marine Deeleuw pose for Dolce & Gabbana’s spring 2014 campaign. Capturing the story of a Sicilian themed party, the advertisements feature the girls alongside male models including Adam Senn, Evandro Soldati, Noah Mills and Tony Ward; sporting the Italian brand’s coin and flower prints.
Dolce Vita – Fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana is starting fresh with its spring-summer 2014 campaign starring Catherine McNeil, Eva Herzigova (not pictured) and Marine Deeluw (who appeared in a holiday shoot for D&G). The Italian label trades in the drama of its fall advertisements with a seductive vibe. Catherine poses with her red hot dress hiked up while Marine stars alongside male model Tony Ward.
D&G’s Baroque Jewelry – Following up her appearance in the brand’s fall campaign, Kate King stars in the 2013 Baroque Jewelry advertisements from Dolce & Gabbana. The classically styled line of earrings, rings and necklaces feature charms in the shapes of crosses, hearts and medallions made with precious gems or engraved metal.
Naomi for Bazaar – Supermodel Naomi Campbell graces the January cover of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, wearing a look from Dolce & Gabbana’s spring-summer 2014 collection. This marks Naomi’s first major cover of the New Year where she appears all smiles in a gold coin and floral print dress from the Italian brand.
Bianca, the Goddess – Italian stunner and face of Dolce & Gabbana, Bianca Balti, shows off the label’s lingerie and jewelry line in the November cover shoot from Esquire Mexico. IMG Models featured the images photographed by John Russo a few days ago on Tumblr. Stylist Micole Basile dresses the dark-haired stunner in embellished bodysuits as well as lacy sets.
Sicilian Jewels – Dolce & Gabbana takes inspiration from its fall 2013 collection with a new line of nail polishes and lipsticks called “Sicilian Jewels”. Dazzling shades in jewel tones of topaz, ruby, amethyst and emerald provide a different beauty look for the party season. These nail and lipsticks would go perfectly with some of Dolce & Gabbana’s holiday looks.
Sicilian Holiday – Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana taps Marine Deleeuw and Ji Hye Park for a winter holiday shoot featured on its lifestyle site, Swide. The girls, who both also happened to walk Dolce & Gabbana’s spring-summer 2014 show; look demure in lace, velvet, chiffon and tweed looks. No doubt these outfits would steal the spotlight at just about any holiday gathering!
