NARS’ New Eyeshadow–Cosmetics brand NARS is launching a new eyeshadow with its Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow palette, reports WWD (subscription needed). “I wanted to try something different in the eye-shadow category and pushed our chemists to create a new formulation that would be first-to-market and have the flexibly of being used wet or dry,” says founder François Nars. The accompanying campaign features Russian model and face of Dior, Daria Strokous, who poses with a smokey eye in the ad.

Manhasset’s Cinematic Spring–Fashion retailer Americana Manhasset has released its spring-summer 2014 lookbook, and this season the company gets inspired by the work of iconic film director Alfred Hitchcock. The photo shoot, which stars Daria Strokous and Alex Lundqvist, references the director’s works including “Psycho”, “The Birds” and “Rear Window”. Mystic Metallics – Dior releases a new beauty line for the fall-winter season titled, “Mystic Metallics”. Daria Strokous stars in the new campaign and video with photography by Steven Meisel. The line is inspired by Monsieur Dior’s belief in omens and superstitions ranging from his first meeting with fortune tellers at the age of fourteen. The “Mystic Metallics” collection includes a nail varnish set, eyeshadow palette, Diorshow Fusion Mono gel-mousse and blush in rosy shades.
The Blond Who Stole the Night – Daria Strokous graces the pages of Vogue Japan’s September issue, sporting a glam retro-inspired wardrobe with tattoos as unlikely accessories. Sølve Sundsbø captures the Russian beauty in designs from the likes of Celine, Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander McQueen with a retro flair courtesy of fashion editor George Cortina. Makeup artist Lisa Butler and hair stylist Shay Ashual create the blonde’s forties inspired beauty for the shoot.

8 of a Kind – For its 8th Anniversary issue, Vogue China enlists an all-star cast including four Chinese models and four western models. Beauties including Sasha Pivovarova, Daria Strokous, Doutzen Kroes, Kati Nescher, Xiao Wen Ju, Liu Wen, Fei Fei Sun and Sui He grace individual covers shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The girls wear fall designs from labels such as Prada, Louis Vuitton and Dior in the studio shots.
Secret Garden – After the reveal of the print campaign, Dior has released its second “Secret Garden” film for the pre-fall season shot at the Château de Versailles. Model Daria Strokous plays the lead in the enchanted film as she explores the site’s grounds and park. By the end, Daria finds herself surrounded by fairy-like creatures in the short film directed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
Dior Opera – Dior’s fall 2013 ready-to-wear campaign stars Daria Strokous, Anastasia Ivanova, Iselin Steiro and Marie Piovesan. The girls were photographed by Willy Vanderperre in the Opéra Garnier in Paris. The rich interior and exterior of the building provide the perfect backdrop to Creative Director Raf Simons’ elegant designs.
Dark Glamour – Model Daria Strokous lands her first Gucci campaign with the Italian label’s pre-fall 2013 advertisements. The Russian beauty poses for Mert & Marcus’ lens in classic silhouettes styled by W Magazine’s Edward Enninful. Hair stylist Luigi Murenu and makeup artist Tom Pecheux are on beauty for the new campaign.
Secret Garden – Dior releases a second installment of its “Secret Garden” campaign featuring fall looks. Captured by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the advertisements star Daria Strokous and other models in a French forest near Petit Trianon.
