Alter Ego – Coco Rocha grabs the spotlight for the fall 2012 campaign from White House Black Market. Coco takes on work-wear ready looks in the dance-themed advertisements lensed by Glen Luchford. The Canadian beauty will also star in an upcoming thirty second television spot featuring choreography by Laurin Latarro and twelve different head to toe looks.
Girls on FIlm – The fall 2012 campaign from Diesel enlists Steven Meisel for a series of mock screen tests starring models Coco Rocha, Mirte Maas and Hanne Gaby Odiele. Not pictured but also appearing in the advertisements are Karen Elson, Coco Rocha, Fei Fei Sun, Mirte Maas and Jamie Bochert. (WWD)
Biking Buddies – Coco Rocha and Emily DiDonato hit the streets on a two-seater bike for the fall 2012 campaign from Longchamp. Max Vadukul captures the duo in matching outfits and elegant bags with art direction by Bianca Li.
The Special Model – Following up the much talked about cover, we present the main editorial for Elle Brazil starring Coco Rocha. Photographed by Max Abadian with styling by William Graper, the Canadian model wears some of the most standout pieces from the spring collections of Gucci, Balmain, Roberto Cavalli and Givenchy amongst others. A dark lip by makeup artist Hung Vanngo and a slicked back coif by hair stylist Andre Gunn complete the ultra-glam ensembles.
The Reveal – We take a look at the May cover of Elle Brazil which stars Coco Rocha wearing a Julien Macdonald dress from the designer’s spring collection. Coco poses for Max Abadian with styling by William Graper for the new issue which hits stores on April 26th. Interestingly enough, the cover has created a little controversy with Rocha’s recent tumblr post accusing Elle of editing the photo to reveal more skin than she agreed to. Coco Pops – Coco Rocha shows off some of her trademark moves for the April cover shoot of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore. In front of Simon Upton’s lens, Coco dons color blocked ensembles from the likes of Celine, Atsuko Kudo and Zana Bayne with fetish accents styled by Kenneth Goh. On beauty are hair stylist Ted Gibson and makeup artist Fredrik Stambro with sleek up-dos and red lips.
Giorgio Armani’s Sparkling Fall – For fall 2012, Giorgio Armani presented a collection showcasing his signature suiting with a youthful, slightly rock and roll inspired edge. Opening with tailored suits in grey and fedora style hats, the Armani woman walked the line between masculine and feminine for autumn. As the show progressed, vibrant orange and pink hues were introduced with fur coats, sparkling dresses and Bermuda shorts layered over black tights. The glam designs were accented by fingerless gloves and chunky jewelery as models walked the catwalk dripping in glittering necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
Posen’s Eastern Fall – For fall 2012, Zac Posen transformed his signature evening wear looks into something a bit more Eastern inspired with models wearing high chignons and novel prints. Dramatic fishtail and mermaid silhouettes dominated the runway detailed with kimono-like belts. Shoulders held a strong shape, showcasing big, powerful folds of origami influence. Styled in bright red lips, look-at-me jewelry and fur coats; the Posen woman is certainly someone who will make an entrance for autumn.
