Throwback Chloe – Getting into a sunny mood, this Thursday we take a look back at Chloe’s spring 2002 campaign. The advertisements starred Russian model Anne Vyalitsyna photographed by Horst Diekgerdes. The frilly blouses and light colors are still a staple of the Chloe woman’s wardrobe even today. Fast forward to 2013 and Anne continues to be a face of fashion, recently making an appearance in Roberto Cavalli advertisements for resort wear.

Sixty Years of Chloe – Following up an exhibition by the same name, French fashion house Chloe releases a new book published by Rizzoli New York called, “Chloe: Attitudes”, looking back at the brand’s sixty year history. From founder Gaby Aghion to Clare Waight Keller who is the current creative director; the book explores Chloe’s designs throughout the decades. Coming up Roses – Celebrating the launch of its new fragrance, Roses de Chloé, the French fashion house Chloe has released a new film inspired by the heart of the scent–the rose. The piece is directed by the French choreographers I Could Never Be a Dancer. Chloe’s Desert Spring – For Chloe’s spring 2014 collection, creative director Clare Waight Keller delivered an outing that was perfectly Chloe–a balance struck between feminine refinement and Parisian cool. There were also Middle Eastern undertones to the new season with a large selection of flowing dresses, long tunics and a sandy color palette. Dresses are crinkled and ruched while separates have a slightly boyish charm in the form of relaxed sweaters and trousers. The Chloe’s woman accessories include the Baylee bag which is folded and made handheld for the upcoming spring and fringe-adorned wedges in neutral tones.
Chloe Resort – When it comes to its resort 2014 collection, Chloe juxtaposes laid-back style with active sportswear and a Parisian elegance. Silhouettes are relaxed yet tailored with an emphasis on trousers and oversized outerwear. Prints for the season are mostly graphic stripes in black and white or pastel hues. A menswear inspiration can be found in not only the pants but also crisp popeline shirts. Still, the Chloe woman shows off her feminine side in layered t-shirt dresses and pleated skirts of the season.

Sixty Years of Chic – French fashion house Chloé celebrates sixty years with a limited edition collection of sixteen re-editions of some of its greatest hits. Creations by designers Gaby Aghion (the label’s founder), Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, and Hannah MacGibbon inspire Chloé Edition Anniversaire. The collection is available at select Barneys New York locations and will hit Chloé boutiques worldwide starting on March 21st. The selection of designs honor the house’s tradition while giving a modern take on the standout pieces. Check out illustrations of the designs after the cut.
Angelic Style – Jennifer Lawrence looked angelic in a white dress from Chloe’s spring 2013 collection. The actress attended the 85th Annual Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon on February 4th, 2013.
Chloe’s New Store – Parisian label Chloé selected architect Joseph Dirand to design the new flagship store located at 253 Rue Saint-Honoré, opening on December 20th. Together with the brand’s creative director, Clare Waight Keller, Dirand created a design inspired by the Chloé woman with a seventies-inspired cool sensibility. The two-level 475 square meter store will house accessories and the ready-to-wear collections. To celebrate its opening, a limited edition “Alice” handbag (pictured above) has been produced in thirty numbered and engraved pieces.
Fresh Scent – After starring as the face of See by Chloé ‘s fall-winter advertisements, Dutch model Bette Franke fronts the new eponymous fragrance from the brand. Inspired by the youthful vibe of Chloé ‘s diffusion line, the new scent is set to debut in stores February 2013.
