Chanel’s Cruise Control – A day after Chanel’s cruise collection made its debut, we have a look at the press kit images photographed by creative director Karl Lagerfeld. Modeled by Saskia de Brauw and Lagerfeld muse Baptiste Giabiconi, the black and white images showcase the clean lines and relaxed silhouettes shown on the runway.
Spring in Chanel – Wee Khim continues to deliver amazing on location shoots with his second shoot in the April edition of Nuyou Singapore. Working with stylist Johnny Khoo and model Anastasia Kuznetsova once again, Khim captures the spring collection from Chanel which mixed elegant tweed with a contemporary edge.

Chanel gone post-apocalyptic? The fall 2011 collection from creative director Karl Lagerfeld had all of the undertones of dystopian fashion with fingerless gloves, patchwork pockets and large cloaks. The background included a volcanic backdrop with charcoal grays, almost like the moody color palette of the clothing. The trademark tweeds and dresses were still on display contrasting the slouchy pants and suits.

Chanel’s spring 2011 showing for Paris Haute Couture Week sent a bevy of snow queens down the runway with a muted color palette of silvery grays and pristine white hues. Airy silhouettes took the catwalk with traditional Chanel tweed jackets and bow motifs which culminated in a ethereal vision.
