Blumarine’s Playful Fall – For fall 2012, Blumarine showcased a collection of over the top glamour with colorful fur coats, wild animal prints and techno silver fabrics. Opening the show with sexy ski bunny coats, designer Anna Molinari made sure the autumn season was a playful one by featuring oversize bags that looked like poms poms more than actual accessories. As the show progressed, some sparkle was added in the form of sequin embellished tops, pants and chunky jewelry. Always unapologetic with the amount of excess and glamour, Blumarine brought a sense of carefree style to the upcoming season.
Flower Girl – Vika Falileeva is a cross between cheerleader and island babe for the spring 2012 campaign from Blumarine. Photographed by Sebastian Faena with styling by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Vika is a glam vision with spring’s tropical flowers, sequins and colorful accessories.
Blumarine’s Tropical Spring – Blumarine takes a trip to the tropics for its spring 2012 collection presented today during Milan Fashion Week. Blumarine brought some energy to the runway with splashes of citrus orange, sky blue, lime green and canary yellow.
Blumarine Babe – Adriana Lima uses her bombshell looks for the fall 2011 campaign from Blumarine. Wearing the Italian label’s animal prints paired with lace, Adriana is flawless with ruby red lips and smoldering cat eyes.
The fall 2011 showing for Blumarine featured a distinct lack of prints–a staple the label has become known for over the past few seasons–and instead featured a more minimal approach with mod inspired silhouettes in one tone hues ranging from stark black to canary yellow. As the show progressed, the garments became more seductive with pieces of lace. The turn to the bedroom seemed fitting, considering Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel made an appearance on the runway with her opening and closing of the show.
