Barneys’ Spring Campaign–For Barneys New York’s spring 2014 campaign, the clothing retailer enlists a cast of seventeen transgender individuals for a series of photographs lensed by Bruce Weber. The images were photographed in New York City where some of the models posed with their family, friends and loved ones. Writer Patricia Bosworth interviewed each model to address many of the issues such as bullying or not fitting in which stem from being transgender. Read their touching stories on Barneys.com. Robyn Gets Glam for Barneys – Australian stunner Robyn Lawley lands her first beauty campaign with Barneys advertisements. The plus size model wows in looks from MAKE, Givenchy, Kevyn Aucoin and NARS. This campaign is also fresh off of Robyn’s recent lingerie campaign for French label Chantelle revealed earlier this month. Doll Fashion – Lou Doillon and her life-size replica marionette, created by set designer Shona Heath, star in the fall 2013 advertisements from Barney’s New York. The model, singer, actress, and daughter of Jane Birkin and Jacques Doillon poses for Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in the images. The video also shot by Inez and Vinoodh featuring an animated version of Lou by Jo Ratcliffe and a song from Doillon’s new album “Places”.
Electric Holiday – Fashion retailer Barneys teams up with Disney for a holiday fashion film starring Minnie Mouse and other Disney characters. Major fashion players such as Steven Meisel, Carine Roitfeld, Nicholas Ghesquière of Balenciaga, Sarah Jessica Parker, Naomi Campbell, Alber Elbaz of Lanvin, Emmanuelle Alt, Suzy Menkes and Franca Sozzani also make an appearance in animated form.
Kirsi Pyrhonen has a little fun in the kitchen for Barneys Holiday catalogue lensed by Magnus Unnar. Wearing a wardrobe of kitchen items and cool looks from Balmain, Rag & Bone, Diane von Furstenberg and others, Kirsi has a foodie holiday in the playful series.

Barneys fall 2010 catalogue goes 3D with models Sasha Pivovarova, Liu Wen, Lyle Lodwick, Robbie Wadge, Louis Simonon and Viktoriya Sasonkina having a load of fun amid a setting of confetti and tape. Wearing the best of this season’s jeans from the likes of Acne, Hudson and Rag & Bone, the mailer brings some levity to autumn.
